I know his recent films haven't been that good, but man his earlier films were SO fucking brilliant. When I learned that Tim was on the autism spectrum, something just clicked for me. And now I feel like I understand him as a Director better than I ever have, and I've been a fan of him for quite some time now. He's got a great sense of humour actually, which comes out in surprising places during his commentary of Edward Scissorhands. I've always been so fascinated by him.
I would seriously be interested in a Tim Burton western. He shortchanges his technical skill. I think he should branch out of his "Tim Burton Zone" more often.
4:25 he's so right. The society seems to suck the joy for life/authenticity out of people. Everyone has to fit the same boring grey mold and leave behind their talents (like drawing in this case).
Beetlejuice was supposed to be a bomb. It took a lot of guts to do that film and push forth through the criticism. A lot of the cast even admit they were like, “wtf is this?” But it all worked out and there’s nothing really like it.
Almost has a Jerry Seinfeld vibe and I’m willing to bet they would get along very well. They are both quality in their respective crafts and have a reverence for a time when you actually had to have some kind of talent to be famous.
I'm sure that only he truly understand me, we have the same mind and he can calm me so well... It's kind of sad that even my family and friends don't understand me.... I have friend who understand me but sometimes i feel like she can't even if she tried. I feel so alone.... I live in my own imaginary world and i have REALLY big imagination. Most of the time i spend in my world , with imaginary friends , places and people and i love to create stories in my mind. My whole family don't understand, yeah i love them but spending time with them is kind of painful for my mind. I know that i have problem but i just want person who will save me when i start to drown in my toughts but will truly understand me. When i say something like this to my mother and just want some kind words she rather tells me that I need a psychologist ....These words always hurt me on very deep level... I'm really sensetive person and when i have anxiety attack and my dad see it he is always like " What are you doing?! You are insane.... If you will be like this you will NEVER be psychologist! " And i always start to cry ... Anyway, my parents are the best in the world but i don't understand why are they sometimes like this. I don't blame them i know that i'm insane, weird and unusual ... BTW i know that no one care but i just wanted to say if you feel like this you are not alone. Be strong. (I'm also sorry for my English I'm from Czech Republic)
Tim is not weird he’s just being himself and not somebody else period.
Christa Smith you say that because he’s famous
@@lepetitchat123 lol yeah
a trick : watch series on Flixzone. I've been using it for watching all kinds of movies lately.
@Ian Grayson Yea, I have been using flixzone for since november myself :D
@Ian Grayson definitely, I've been using flixzone for years myself :)
I totally get what he is saying and portrays in his movies. I think thats why I like them so much, I can relate to being the outsider.
This man speaks to my soul

Tim Burton is one of a kind, and that what make him cool.
I'm really glad to see that there is someone who can't process that QnA thing without rapidly moving their hands.

oddly enough he did have a script written for western and also included aliens.. or somththing like that.
Mars Attacks! Is his western.
I wanna marry this guy :'D his simply awesome and soo interesting..
can we all just agree that edward scissor hands is a harmless cinnamon roll?
Yeeeessssss!
He's so cute and awkward i love em
I like how he uses regulars who I can’t imagine better suited for Tim Burton movie roles like Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito and Johnny Depp.
Nice interview of Tim. He has a lot of energy.
Wise man that broke the mold and made the best of his life
Tim is the best!
What a brilliant mind
Very valuable interview
Personality type INFP and 4w5 for sure.
Same here , maybe that’s why I really can kinda adhere to him
wondered why i related to him so much. lol

Yeah I definitely can relate. My family thinks I'm crazy and most of the time I feel terribly lonely. Only my imagination saves me.

He’s “weird” but everyone is. He’s also incredibly talented and intelligent and so fun to listen to and I imagine working with him is so exciting 🤍
He looked like Jerry Seinfeld back then; a weird Jerry Seinfeld.
don't diss jerry like that!
They always ask him this question.... A weird thing to ask someone.
Born and raised in the SFV, so I get it lol!
Owo WE NOW SHALL WORSHIP
9:07 - 9:15 This is more-or-less the ending of The Fabelmans (except Spielberg wasn't devastated by his meeting with John Ford)
He had no reason to be devastated. He became the studio head’s golden boy.
I'm not a big fan of this guy, but this interview is so entertaining. :)
why not
the guy interviewing him looks and sounds like chris hansen
🖤🖤🖤🖤
Biopic of Tim Burton starring Timothée Chalamet. Make it happen, people.
Is little Timmy hatin' on Sesame Street? How dare he?😱😧
*Goth Woody Allen*
He's like a cross between Woody Allen and Robert Crumb.
