Its super yummy. I grew up eating this as a child growing up in India to grandparents from Tibet. The yaks in Tibet have a great life. They have open land to graze and tibetan buddhists generally speaking treat animals well and people even say a prayer or mantra like "om mani padme hom" before and while eating the meat. The cold temperature in Tibet is conducive to this kind of meat preservation.
@Pine Joi tibetan arent like Han Chinese who eat everything and generally have no remorse when it comes to taking life. This man himself said as a buddhist, he feels bad buying meat and if he feels bad, he for sure will say a few buddhist mantras. You're Chinese. I have family in Tibet and they all say yhis mantra. Even in travel videos, you will see tibetans in Tibet saying this mantra as they circle religious places.
@Pine Joi What's wrong with being vegetarian and killing less? Being vegetarian is actually pretty healthy in some cases. Even if you get rid of what you called superstitions, from a moral perspective what's wrong with limiting suffering, if it's not needed? Just because 白玛卓玛 doesn't do it at all, doesn't mean that everyone doesn't, I agree that there are certain superstitions that aren't necessary, but being vegetarian does no harm, how is praying bs? 还有人家好像看不懂中文,你干脆直接用英文
@@pinkymoon5039 actually, People living in Tibet have to eat meat to maintain their physical strength because of climate, environment and other reasons, Buddhists living in mainland China are somewhat similar to Indian vegetarians, the living environment is not as bad as Tibet, so it's no problem for them to be vegetarian
Tibetans still follow the tradition of buying meat once a year. really nice , avoiding all the commercial packaging issues of daily industrialised communities.
The carvings on the cabinet in your friend's home are amazing. This is a very decent living room and praying chapel. The young herdsman earns more money than most Americans, given he doesn't pay tax for the cash income.
