Her, Rachel and hoh are the most realistic characters in the series.
They made decisions normal people can understand and that's why I enjoyed this subplot the most.
The WEBTOON illustrates it really well too. First time reading I didn’t think much about it, but even though the art was iffy in the beginning chapters, the story showed that the author was actually very good at storytelling and even decades ago when they first made the story, they were a very good writer

Idk, I imagined it way different. In the webtoon, I felt like it was a person being stopped by an invisible force, not seeing why they can't move. Meanwhile here its like "trapped in liquid"

My only complaint is they didn't hype up the stabbing like they did in the webtoon. It was much more dramatized and had more weight to it

@@shiloh9557 how though? Even in episode 13, it explained her reasons very well and she most definitely isn't bland at all. She's selfish, incredibly flawed and self conscious about herself but that makes her one of the most interesting characters imho
@@shiloh9557 Rachel is pretty complex and her personality is probably the most well written ones for an antagonist. There is a story reason why she appears bland, which you will see later in S2/Part 2.

Edit: anyway other than that I wished they had more episodes to cover the story because only thirteen episodes is no where near enough to cover the full season. They’re doing ok so far but at this point reading the WEBTOON is still better

@@Blubbernugget12345 If you base your opinion on season 1 for the art then let me tell you that siu art become better with time. S3 and S4 have some of the best art for a weebtoon. But yeah S1 and S2 is questionable(i think i read that even the autor want to redraw s1 but he is focusing one progressing the story).
Even if they had more episodes, some things would still have to be cut or changed. Some things that work in a webtoon probably can't work in an anime. While I do agree it could be better, it's still pretty good imo.

If it came to a fight to the death between them, then even though she knows that he's much stronger than she is, she still would underestimate him by miles. Rankers are in a whole different universe compared to regulars. It's like comparing God to a normal human being. Though in this situation it wasn't a fight to beat the other, but to steal the others badge and tricking a ranker is possible, but not fighting one. That's why they could win that game against a ranker.

Ginga Infinity i agree, the anime doesn’t do it justice maybe it was because they tried to fit 78 chapters in 13 episodes but i think its still good, however if theres a season 2 they need to do a batter job, a change in the animation or even the studio cuz season 2 is completely different and we need the best animation possible cuz ToG deserves it.

Goh first season is just as good as togs in some ways, worse in others and even better in a multitude of ways. I really like goh and tog. And goh first season was so hype

Hopefully they improve the fight Animations as well come Season 2 coz right now they are not memorable.
ToG has potential to be as big as Naruto or Bleach or any other Top Anime and it would be a shame to see it forgotten once other amazing Anime like Attack on Titan come back.

Mati L exactly what I’m saying people hold the manhwa in high regard just because that’s how they started the show and the anime is ruining there nostalgia, the manhwa in the beginning had terrible art and I pushed way to many things and concepts on you to fast, it was very hard to manage. If does get better during the 2nd season and the end of the 1st too

Ppl are mad there were no real fights here, they pretend a season that focuses on world building is supposed to have a big fight, they’ll likely have one at the end of the season, and besides its not like hxh, gintama, a bunch of other shows had big fights by this many episodes
