My Ferns Story: Ali Riley |

Ali Riley remembers being inspired to become a footballer as a little girl at LA’s Rose Bowl Stadium when the USWNT won the World Cup in 1999.
On the eve of the home World Cup kicking off 24 years later, she hopes to do the same for little girls throughout Aotearoa.
From dearly held memories of visiting her grandparents to discovering a second family when she first met the Ferns in the lead up to the 2006 U-20 WWC, to aiming to create history with many of those same team mates in 2023, this is Ali Riley’s Story.

4) and in a convincing manner (not a fluke)
