I have a question: just curious I tried pronouncing the word yuè which means month and I said the word to Siri and she thought I said something else in Chinese. Just curious, do you round up your mouth? Or how do you use your mouth to pronounce the word

To learn the finals is easy to me because i already speak javanese, indonesian, English and Dutch.
But to read the chinese consonan like z, zh, c, ch, q, x is very difficult. I don't hear the difference.
But this teacher is amazing! It's like he understands the students.
I've studied reading pinyin for a little while but the accents have deterred me from trying to speak it until this video. Your explanations are the clearest I've found and your comparisons to sounds from English words is very helpful. You are an awesome teacher who is keeping me sane during COVID-19 quarantine.
