[4K] Walkabout Waters, join the PlanIt Park kids as we take a tour of this kids-themed water park adventure complete with slides, ladders and plenty of water.
Walkabout Waters is a kids water park adventure located in SeaWorld Aquatica Orlando. It consists of a towering, 60-foot-tall colorful rain fortress covering 15,000 square feet.
Walkabout Waters is open to all guests. Children under 6 must be accompanied by a supervising companion. Life vests are not permitted on enclosed slides and Walkabout Waters has a maximum water depth in the play area of 1 foot 3 inches (.38m) and a Maximum water depth in splash pools of 42 inches (1.07m).
Aquatica is a chain of water parks owned and operated by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment with water parks operating in Orlando, Florida and San Antonio, Texas.
Construction on Aquatica Orlando started in 2007 and continued into 2008. Previews for employees and holders of park annual passes was held in February and on March 1, 2008, the park opened to guests for the first time, with an official grand opening held on April 4, 2008.
Aquatica Orlando is themed to the southern Pacific and features Australian and New Zealand based mascots including Roa (a kiwi), Kata (a kookaburra), Wai (a Commerson's dolphin), Ihu (a gecko), Papa (a royal spoonbill), Wae Wae (a takahe), and Motu (a turtle)
