Several candidates referred to Safe Outdoor Spaces. How can we get more of them throughout the City of Denver to support the volume of people who are unhoused?
In my opinion, residents often oppose Safe Outdoor Spaces near their homes. Why can't we use some of the parking lots around the Capitol Building? Why can't we use space in some of our larger parks? There is an unused parking lot in the NW area of City Park with an adjacent seasonal restroom.

A related issue is access to water & restrooms for our unhoused. Right now, there are no plumbed restrooms functioning in City Park despite the City Park Pavilion being heated & able to support those restrooms year round.

I wish we could use some of the smaller green spaces at intersections to build some public baths etc.
Obviously it'll be dependent on location what is possible

I work in multifamily in denver.
Add a maximum parking requirement please. Not just a minimum. Developers from outside the denver system prefer more parking and aren't at all concerned with our minimum count.
Retrofitting office buildings to residential is much much more complicated and impossibly expensive than these people seem to think.
I also want the return of the no car street axis' through the city seen in the early days of covid.
Make 16th entirely pedestrian and bike only from east to west and tear up the concrete between perpendicular streets please.
Do the same in as many locations as possible in the city center in a coordinated and intentional design to limit car access but to allow loading and unloading for businesses downtown.
Have this limited car zone stretch from colfax to the highway, and between 20th and Speer. Downtown is surrounded by highway and major streets. Let's utilize that to let people get to that ring easily and then have them walk to the interior from whatever point they want around the city center.
