I could have sworn there was a recording from this event of The Oracles on the Delphi Express I distinctly remember someone in the room whistling the little guitar lick in the first third of the song edit: no it was the banjo reprise of that lick towards the end
Not on my set, but maybe one of the others? He did a bunch of different house shows on this "tour" and I know a few others have added videos from their shows.
@@ZeppelinDT man I know this sounds nuts, but are you sure it wasn't this set with that song removed from YT? The background is just as I remember it, the timbre of his voice is just as I remember it, the songs around it in the setlist as are I remember, and I just can't find it literally anywhere else Like I said, sounds crazy, I'm just grasping at straws here, but I really do recall this type of setting and timbre for oracles on the delphi express
@@wagalashi I'm sure. He played 8 songs that night. Things That Hide Away Home Mustard Gas Life & Death Where The Road Parts The Church and the Dime Black Sandy Beaches Red Hands I vaguely recall the clip of Oracles that you're talking about, but it wasn't at my house. I'm pretty sure it was from one of the ones that was professionally recorded - maybe the one from Antone's show in Wisconsin? Could it be a clip from the Color Spectrum bonus DVD?
Just saw The Dear Hunter live 2 days ago, they played this song, and even though I have all their albums, I wanted to hear him play it live, so I found this masterpiece.
Gotta love The Dear Hunter! The Acts 1 - 3 are masterpieces and the color spectrum is really good too. BTW, I see Dream Theater artwork in the background!! bonus points for that ;)
to C.Lund, found this after hearing them on Grooveshark for the 1st time today. Incredible, beautiful. Definitely will pick up some albums as should everybody; they would be stupid not to. Do they play in Atlanta, GA or at least close (2-3 hr drive)
Currently the only upcoming tour dates they've announced are for Europe, but they should be announcing some US 2014 dates soon. No idea where they'll be playing, but they've definitely played Atlanta in the past. Most recently at The Loft in March of 2013.
This is one of my favorite dear hunter songs it’s so heavy
god damn it.. i just cant stop listening to them. nothing else does it for me anymore..
Casey is actually a fucking great artist !! AWESOME. Can't wait for other Acts. And pleaaaaaaaaaase, come to France
I like how art decided to take on shape of Casey Crescenzo !

Dream Theater and the Dear Hunter: my two favorite bands, and there is a great love of both exhibited in this video.

That "in middle of the song" tunning bro...
This man is an artist.
This is insane talent... I wish they come to Canada someday.
10 years later, thanks.
