5am is too early. For that matter all these should not be in loudspeakers. As good it is listen to , it can always be enjoyed within the confines of the homes. Or it can be recited inside the temples by the devotees. I wish the temples will change their policies. I am not saying you are complaining, in fact expressing the opposite. I personally feel this early morning should not be disturbed.

Glad I am born in Kerala, my close friends are Brahmin and Christians, studied in a Catholic school, taught by teachers of different religion, resides beside a temple and used to wake up with the voice of Suprabhadam song and saw a huge social change in the quality of life under the communist rule. I highly doubted I could get this love and affection from the community in any other state.

I am a christian.my house was nearby a temple and They play this song by 5am.my day was starting with song.I was not knowing the meaning.but some kind of positivity was getting from this song.God bless her and praying for her speedy recovery.
5am is too early. For that matter all these should not be in loudspeakers. As good it is listen to , it can always be enjoyed within the confines of the homes. Or it can be recited inside the temples by the devotees. I wish the temples will change their policies. I am not saying you are complaining, in fact expressing the opposite. I personally feel this early morning should not be disturbed.

Glad I am born in Kerala, my close friends are Brahmin and Christians, studied in a Catholic school, taught by teachers of different religion, resides beside a temple and used to wake up with the voice of Suprabhadam song and saw a huge social change in the quality of life under the communist rule. I highly doubted I could get this love and affection from the community in any other state.
Don't misunderstand that secularism came about because of communist rule. It was the influence of Sree Narayana Guru, the guru of Kerala, that created such a vibe in Kerala. There was a time when communists were secular. There's a reason for that too. What you experienced was the change that happened when the Sree Narayaneeyar or Ezhavas followed his teachings to some extent and the vast majority of the Communist Party became them. Today that party is in a particular religious appeasement.
