Coletrain Hetrick if I could recognize even a single point of quality about ready player one I wouldn't have argued. But it is so unbelievably dumb comparing it to all the other films you mentioned is fucking insulting. It is riddled with plot holes, characters have the most retarded motivations. On Stanley Kubrick, he was not a difficult man to work with, which has been backed up by the majority of people who knew him and worked with him. He had a few run-ins with actors like Shelly Duvall, but what people don't mention is that she didn't take it very seriously at first and would mess about, so Kubrick tormented her because he thought she was fucking up his movie. The media didn't like him, because Kubrick wouldn't talk to them, so they made up things like he's a recluse and a tyrant, but the truth is that Kubrick was very shy, he would talk to actors personally in private as a form of giving them feedback and he never raised his voice. These are all things that have been backed up by Malcolm McDowell, Matthew Modine, Ryan O'Neil and even crew members like Larry Smith who was the cinematographer on Eyes Wide Shut. These are only a few examples and there are plenty more people who say that he is nothing like what people think he was like, and I think it's sad that his reputation is represented in this light still.
Well, even Matthew Modine thought Kubrick was a dick at first. In his book about the filming of Full Metal Jacket he talks at length about the scene where they first show him in Vietnam where he stands up from his chair and starts kicking at some guy. He said he got a bit pissed at Kubrick then because he had to do that scene like 100 times or some shit. I remember him writing, "That guy was a dick." Lol I think he grew to like a respect him , though.
Its strange how much of a Tall Tale kind of character Kubrick has become. Like all the interviews and The Shining documentary have him look like a normal dude with a nerdy voice and maybe a bit of an ego but thats really it. People act like he was some super genius, super dark, super personality that reigned supreme over all things that dare be in his path. Its like he's some fucking anime villain its hilarious.
I read a book of interviews with Kubrick. He comes across as slightly confrontational sometimes during the initial meetings, but as time wears on you get the impression he's sort of just doing it for effect, to suss out the people with the imperturbability to respond to him on his own terms rather than relying solely on stock social cues. He seemed like a pretty fun guy, just one whose interests were elusively niche. He'd carry a tape recorder with him to record conversations purely so he could get a realistic sense of conversational rhythm, as opposed to dramatized Hollywood dialogue. And during the writing of 2001 he'd call Arthur C. Clarke at all hours of night to ask random questions about his religious views or mundane scene changes. Just a weird guy, but I never got the impression he enjoyed screwing with people beyond getting a sense for them, he was just a genuinely awkward guy. Of course, it's all open to interpretation.
Barry Lyndon is bizarre. It's like my body was telling me to be bored, but I was immersed in every single aspect. The 2 actors who play Lord Bullington were fantastic

Oh come on guys. That thing with Starlord was totally in character for him. Like, literally the first thing he did to his Dad once he found out the truth, was shoot him a dozen times. That wasn’t a plot contrivance, that was a legitimate character flaw of Starlord being used by Thanos to get what he wanted.
Spoilers for Infinity War . . . I definitely thought that it was in character for Star Lord to do that. He's always acted emotionally. That's one of his biggest flaws. His emotions get in the way at every turn in his last two movies. Especially in the second one he basically dropped his friends for his dad just because he feels he needs a family. The first one he just does whatever he wants all the time.
I do think Loki should stay dead, even though he is my favorite character. I’m just upset with how they handled his death. I was expecting a more epic death for him.
+ChaoticFoxLeo Well, i thought that considering the fact that scene takes place like 20 minutes after Ragnarok, it was a fitting death scene. But yeah, the scene feels very lackluster if not taking the previous movie into account
If they bring him back dummies will clap, so I don’t know what they’ll do. Kevin Feige is a smart person with creative integrity but he does have heavy investments to pay back. You wouldn’t believe how many retards I’ve heard saying They want every hero to come back. You need to fill those seats with man children to stay profitable.
I think Ready Player One is more interesting as a novel, not because it’s good (its god awful), because whenever the author tries to really “do” anything, he ends up saying more about himself than he does about what he was intending to. When you read the list of references that ironically interrupts the plot, you can just tell Cline is a guy who can’t let go of the past, and whose Rose-colored glasses for the 80’s don’t even allow him to see what those games or movies are about.
Jacob Carlin I personally think that makes the novel more interesting if you read it as a character study of Ernest Cline rather than a literal story. It’s a microcosm of the nostalgic mindset.
Personally Loki did it for me in the first Avengers as well, though I do feel they could have made him even more interesting over all the movies if they gave him some character progress
I'm gonna steal all your food and eat it too For me Loki was a villain that played really well off the other characters in that movie, he had great lines and chemistry with the heroes in that movie. Thanos as a villain works great on his own, he is fascinating in his philosophy and motivation, you don't agree with it at all but you fully understand why he does he does. He is the hero of his own story.
They're different in that yes but both of them, no matter how different they are, are still the best characters in their movies for me. I was way more interested in how Loki interacted with everyone then how the protagonists were
Once I sat in the cinema watching Avengers Age of Ultron with my friends (I know it's a terrible movie) and some guy in the row behind us shouted stuff like "YAAAY IRON MAN" or "YOU CAN DO IT IRON MAN" every time iron man did something. Now that I think about it he might have had a disability, which would be pretty sad.
Went yesterday with the family to see Avengers, asked a kid multiple times to stop playing on his phone during the movie, he didn't, his mom got offended and asked the manager to kick us out while threatening to sue the cinema if they didn't so we just left (we missed a lot of the film and the experience was ruined anyway), the manager was really nice and gave us courtesy tickets.
Saw it with my friends three days ago. Like, ever since the movie began two fucking kids were talking very loud and they were like just three sits away from me. Their mother was with them and the only thing that she did was saying them: Ssshhhh So we got to the Wakanda fight, and even with all the noise of that scene they were still loud as fuck so I told them: KIDS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, SHUT UP. And thankfuly they did, the problem is that my voice is really fucking deep so it kind of sounded like I was gonna kill those kids or something. At the end of the movie during the credits her mother said to me: Look, I'm sorry about what happened, but next time please tell me to shut them up and I will. Remember that they are still kids. And I was like: Oh yeah don't worry, I'm sorry too, is just that, it's a movie theather miss. Still I should not have been that rude. Although part of me was still thinking: If you knew that they were loud then why didn't you shut them up before? A friend of mine basically told me like: Dude, you had your right to be mad but you shouldn't have done that, or at least not the way you did. And yeah I give that to him, I should have done something in a better way. However, while I don't give a shit what people do with their children, at least teach them how to be in a fucking movie theather before taking them to one. Also: Why if your native lenguage is spanish you take your little kids to see a movie in english? Like, there's a dubbed version in the next room, and it's a really good dub and also your kids would understand what the characters are fucking saying. It was not only the kids though, but a big chunk of people in that theather were assholes. Guys with their phone and they have the brightness up to max, a fucking guy was watching a video or some shit in the middle of the movie and people talking loud as fuck and it's like... Shit man. Is not even because of the movie itself or anything, but you're inside a fucking movie theather. If it was opening night I would be fine with clapping and shit because I know that people do that in those type of events, but god damn, it has been a week since the movie came out, just watch it. And that was my rant, sorry if you read all of this.
Jesus, I keep hearing about these horrible experiences in theaters and that just never really happened to me in Europe. Worst things were like people cheering/laughing a little too much on opening nights, and some people looking at their phone a few seconds or kicking my seat (unintentionally). I suggest you go to late-night showings or seek out theaters that are more restrictive if you want a better experience.
Here's my advice: Go during the daytime. Me and my dad watched it earlier today (or... Yesterday I guess, since it's 3 AM here, but whatever), at 4:30 PM on a school day. There were like, 3 other families there, and no annoying kids. I could hear one kid like, whisper-yelling to his mother in the row in front of us once or twice, but aside from that, it was pretty much quiet the whole time.
Just because anthony is a good youtuber, doesnt mean he has to be on every podcast, i’m cool with him being a guest, he isn’t the original sardon, if anthony was on every episode i actually think i’d like it less, i feel a lot of people agree w me also
It’s ok to hate on Marvel, but at least make some good counter arguments with the discussion. Ralph and Alex both made a lot of good pros and cons about the movie. Adam just seemed like he wanted to sabotage the whole thing.
I don't think he really needs to go into detail about why he doesn't like them, anyone who is interested in film can see the glaring problems in Marvel movies.
????? Then he should at least not be picky and watch all the previous movies. He constantly needs to be reminded who a character is or he would say he didn't watch one of the connected movies. Seems like cherry picking and he only went to go see the ones he thought were gona be the talk of the internet. Seems fine of you have a TH-cam channel, but it just seems strange that he is aware he needs context, and still refuses to get it. So if he isn't going to see the MCU movies in order, then he's wasting his time because that's how they are meant to be seen. It's like reading a book series out of order, you'll get confused and it will only be your own fault.
Just watch his rewiev on his channel, he was pretty alright with it there. And it's true that super hero movies are becoming even more cookie cutter than love comedies but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy it. Duuuuh
*DAMIEN MILLS* you're missing the point: Adam barely has any investment in these films and you're acting like it's a travesty that he didn't praise them like they're the second coming of Christ. You're the one coming at this from the perspective of 'he has to literally know everything about all the movies before he can have a criticism of it'... Do you not think that maybe he doesn't know all the names of the characters because he doesn't find them interesting, he doesn't find a reason to get involved in the story, and the only real reason that he's watching this movie is because he knows people are going to want to hear his thoughts on it and also he can make money on a review? Like fuck man.
The problem with worrying about death not having consequences in the marvel movies is that death has no consequences in the comics. All the potential problems that could occur from them being brought back next movie have been criticisms made on the comics for years now.
ThatBugBehindYou Death shouldn’t be the only consequence though, there are people is these movies that are going to be fucked up for life for what Thanos did
@@randomguy6679 Well first off, if you think it's a "terrible" medium I'd hope you never got in a position to make a movie out of it, people remaking old content who hate or think the old content is bad always do it wrong and their "fixes" are usually terrible in itself. Second, why is a good question, the answer to "why" is that comics are an existing and working model of success, a powerful company like Disney isn't just going to change the formula because that formula makes them money.
I think that the “The Shining” part was the only decent part because Stephen Spielberg still had talent and only put effort in a tribute to his friend’s work.(before you say that it’s based on a book, read the book and watch the movie back to back. They massively vary.)
Yes! Barry Lyndon is my all time favorite movie ever; I've seen it at least 20 times. But whenever I talk movies with friends, I'm always hesitant to bring it up. It's the hardest Kubrick movie to describe, and the initial tone is mellow and near boring. But the segments are well written, have the most perfect setups and payoffs, and oh damn, that cinematography. Kubrick makes a perfect moving painting that, when paused on any given scene, is artistic enough to be framed and put into any museum or art theater. It perfectly captures and represents what the idea of a moving picture should be. Thank you so much for talking about this gem among gems!
Much like gaping chest wound Superman, I saw some children get their idols shit on. this one kid was pleading with his parents to stay for the end credits scene just hoping that everything would be made right. It was incredible to watch.
Ivan M The movie just goes to black and everyone is sat there thinking they’ll fix it for this movie, I was in awe at the balls they had to make an ending this impactful
Adam - Jay Alex - Mike Ralph - Rich Evans Edit: now I'm rethinking my choice of matching Ralph with Rich... I mean no one can compare to Rich but I was doing closest approximation. Love the idea of figuring this out though. I upset so many people 😂 Just to clarify, this is not meant to be taken seriously, just thought it might be fun.
Thanos' motivation in exterminating half of the universe is in line with his title, "The Mad Titan". He wholly believes that what he's doing is what's best, in preserving more resources for future generations, even though it's bat-shit insane.
Right. His idea is sensible in a sense; over population is a threat to the survival of a population. He had a crazy idea to cull half of his own, and was rightfully rejected. Then, his species dies out, which does two things: the tragedy drives him from sorta mad to very mad, and then it reaffirms his ideology. Then, he surrounds himself with lunatic prodigies, some of who worship him as if he was a god, and begins enacting his solution here and there over who knows how long of a time. And at some point becomes obsessed with getting the Infinity Stones to enact his plan. Once he had them, he could use them to solve the initial problem by any number of means, but he doesn't want to. He is fixated on killing half of all things, regardless of the ethical and practical problems. Also, quite importantly, he acquires the Mind Gem last and never uses its specific powers (he uses all of the other Stones throughout), which would include utilizing the pinnacle of knowledge to solve the universe's problems that please everyone in ways we can't fathom. So, Thanos is not stark raving mad and completely divorced from logic, but he is an alien mind, a neurotic genius, a sole survivor of his species with PTSD, a man with a chip on his shoulder, despised by most civilizations aware of him, and has the mindset of a crazed fascist dictator from weirdos that enable him, operating on a flawed logic.
Q and A questions: 1:36:33 - Do you think it's important to disregard an actor's scandals when it comes to judging the quality of a movie? 1:47:12 - What's the best performance you've seen wasted on a terrible movie? 1:51:59 - What is the most obnoxious/lazy camera technique to see in films? Also, has it ever been used well?
The first ones a hard question because you shouldn't be giving them money but Kevin Spacey in the usual suspects is one of the best performances ever done
If you enjoyed Barry Lyndon check out some of Kubricks other movies. Full Metal Jacket, Eyes Wise Shut and Shining being the most accessible He really is the best
maybe because he actually bothers defending his point and doesn't just succumb to the "oh I see you have an opinion, well I respect your opinion." bullshit that doesn't add anything to the discussion.
I don't think he's really that bothered by their opinions he just has an odd way of showing that. He's dealing with two people who adore Marvel so he has to get his foot in the door for his different opinion to be heard just as much. But I'm a big fan of Adum so I'm probably biased.
yeah I don't really buy that. Especially considering how much Adam can have a tendency to monopolize the conversation. I don't automatically like Marvel (or superhero movies in general, for the most part) either but even on points that aren't about that he just gets so flustered, and noticeably annoyed at the slightest disagreement. But I've never been a huge fan of Adam's individual content, so I'm probably biased as well xD
All of your arguments go to shit when you realize that the Infinity Gauntlet can alter the laws of the universe such as thermodynamics and gravity/quantum physics. The Infinity Gauntlet essentially makes you omnipotent, omniscient and potentially omnipresent. If you want to make the argument that they nerfed it in the film then the discussion is over, it isn't the real Gauntlet.
Yeah, I realized this argument is flawed, but Thanos plan is still dumb because killing half of the universe just buys some time till people recover and repopulate again, then overpopulation happens again... its basic biology
True, true. However, (to me anyway) It seemed that the gauntlet's abilities were only temporary except for, you know, the Snap. Even then the Snap nearly destroyed the gauntlet after releasing all of that energy. And as Taverna said, yes his plan is flawed, people will eventually repopulate and catch back up.
Im watching half of this until i finish barry Lyndon. I got the criterion blu ray just for this podcast and i still haven't found the time to watch it . And i got it a week ago
LowReedExpert1 I would hope Adam would let his pride out and give it a 7 already, he has said it’s the best Marvel movie but stretches so far to not give it anything higher than a 6. He seems to have enjoyed way too much to give it a 6
I like how no one answered A;ex's Question of what would you do to make this film more enjoyable for you. I would of liked to hear what Adam & Ralph answered. Maybe next time.
My only gripe with Infinity War was the large scale battle in Wakanda - it felt so out of place and boring. Thanos was amazing, Josh Brolin's performance was A+ even despite the lulzy writing at times. I've hated Gamora and Nebula since Guardians 1, so I don't care. Bruce Banner gets cucked more and more and I don't care about him, because Mark Ruffalo is weak as Banner. Spiderman was hit-and-miss for me, Tom Holland plays an awkward teenager well, but I prefered Toby Macguire's version (despite the hamfistedness of those films). Thor is FINALLY giving *some* tribute to the Norse mythology, and being legit interesting. Infinity War was 10x better than the first Avengers. And I didn't even bother getting up to scratch with Marvel films.
Jeanette Hansen I don't think the overly emotional toby maquire would necessarily work well with the other avengers, even if he is arguably a better peter parker. I agree the battle in Wakanda is easily the weakest portion of the film. Agree with everything else you said.
haha I feel like I enjoy the MCU films WAY more than any of these guys. The original Iron Man is seriously still the best one. The Thor movies are fun. Captain America is great. Guardians of the Galaxy are GOAT. It's a super consistent franchise.
My brother hated this movie, just because of the ending. (SPOILER ALERT) And it wasn't really a critical reason, it was just that he didn't like that they killed of everyone
40:00 Because it’s basically fan-service the movie. Oh past Alex, just wait until you see Endgame in the future. 42:08 “You’re just a hater, Adam.” Completely captures what I think about YMS and why I love watching you guys talk. YMS, IHE, Ralphthemoviemaker, the holy trinity. 48:14 Oh Alex and Ralph. You don’t know how right you are.
Kubrick was not always cruel to his actors, and Malcom McDowell was disappointed to find out that he wasn't nearly as emotionally involved in their friendship as he appeared on set. Contrast this with directors who fetishize torturing actors pointlessly. You guys also need to watch Tarkovsky

1:04:38 A commentary track of Justice League would indeed be incredible. It's such an irredeemable mess of a film.
lol righto. I'd ask for context for your vitriol but your comment kind of stands for itself.
Kubrick was hired to fake the Moon Landing, but he's such an auteur that he demanded to shoot on location.
"Mr Robot... I don't feel so good."
"You're awake."
I had no interest in RPO but I might read it now under that premise.
Mason Scott exactly
Underrated comment.
Strangely enough some of my friends think I'm weird when I say I don't like the book.
Avengers infinity war is the first superhero movie since the dark Knight where I can say the villain makes the movie.
what are you talking about, Tony Stark isn't even that good in this movie. Thanos didn't do anything wrong.
I was way more interested in how Loki interacted with everyone then how the protagonists were
you haven't seen jared leto in suicide squad yet. so hauntingly bad, you'll think about it for weeks (and chuckle)
40:50 Its actually Darkseid. He realized that the DCverse isn't worth it so he's moving to a more profitable universe.
Rewatched Barry Lyndon for this. Still my favorite Kubrick film.
Bruce Banner basically had erectile dysfunction in this movie.
Ralph, I wanted to thank you for recommending Mr. Robot. I'm 4 episodes in but I loved it from the first one.
Ralph knows about Anime I knew it 23:29
Alex the lion , Adam Sandler , and Ralph Wiggum make quite the trio.
Imagine if thanos killed half the universe while Ralph and Adam were having there gay furry sex.... the real tragedy is not being able to finish
When he's done half of humanity will still be alive. I hope they remember the gay furry sex.
*their
"I-I-I'M CU- don't feel so good..."

Thank you for being born
I forgot BvS existed until just now
Sorry for that
Once I sat in the cinema watching Avengers Age of Ultron with my friends (I know it's a terrible movie) and some guy in the row behind us shouted stuff like "YAAAY IRON MAN" or "YOU CAN DO IT IRON MAN" every time iron man did something. Now that I think about it he might have had a disability, which would be pretty sad.
Not too different from sports fans cheering at the TV. Idiotic coming from any non-handicapped individual.
@@dirrdevil people aren’t allowed to cheer in their own home now? Watch out for the fun police, I guess…
Their mother was with them and the only thing that she did was saying them: Ssshhhh
So we got to the Wakanda fight, and even with all the noise of that scene they were still loud as fuck so I told them: KIDS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, SHUT UP.
We should kill half of the children in the universe.
My audience was so loud that I missed like the lines of dialogue where Strange was talking to Thanos
I really hope you guys get james rolfe on the podcast
I’m going to ask you this one time.
Where is Anthony Fantano?
I’ll do you one better, who is Anthony Fantano?
WHY...
Is Anthony Fantano?
Just because anthony is a good youtuber, doesnt mean he has to be on every podcast, i’m cool with him being a guest, he isn’t the original sardon, if anthony was on every episode i actually think i’d like it less, i feel a lot of people agree w me also
Great guest, but the real dynamic is between adum, alex and ralph
Last known whereabouts were on the official podcast
Love how adum changes the topic discussion the minute he can't argue his point.
Just when I thought my Mondays couldn’t be more depressing
*My day is complete.*
5:00 lol, U.S. government has definitely dabbled in smuggling and dealing
He clearly hates them, he picks and chooses which ones to watch, and he has no context as a consequence.
Oh, another Infinity war vi... DID I JUST READ BARRY LYNDON?
The problem with worrying about death not having consequences in the marvel movies is that death has no consequences in the comics.
All the potential problems that could occur from them being brought back next movie have been criticisms made on the comics for years now.
ThatBugBehindYou Death shouldn’t be the only consequence though, there are people is these movies that are going to be fucked up for life for what Thanos did
TheTarantuRoach
I would hope we get something like that, it would be neat if the next Spider-Man especially demonstrates an emotional trauma.
So...l why dont you improve from a terribly written medium.
@@randomguy6679
Well first off, if you think it's a "terrible" medium I'd hope you never got in a position to make a movie out of it, people remaking old content who hate or think the old content is bad always do it wrong and their "fixes" are usually terrible in itself.
Second, why is a good question, the answer to "why" is that comics are an existing and working model of success, a powerful company like Disney isn't just going to change the formula because that formula makes them money.
@@ThatBugBehindYou Oh dont worry, I'll just make something original like a real filmmaker.
America - Clapping, cheering, woo-ing, laughing hysterically
Britain - Just a bit of chuckling
I think that the “The Shining” part was the only decent part because Stephen Spielberg still had talent and only put effort in a tribute to his friend’s work.(before you say that it’s based on a book, read the book and watch the movie back to back. They massively vary.)
I like how Ralph looks like an extra tasty Italian boi.
Infinity war was good, but I was shocked to hear Black Panther use the n word.
adam goessl black panther vs his mortal enemy pink panther for the sequel
I'm so surprised that they got Sam Raimi to direct this
When did he say that?
Caleb Anderson its a joke where people put a fake spoiler to confuse people
johnathon something nothing oh lol I thought he was serious
Adam - Jay
Alex - Mike
Ralph - Rich Evans
Edit: now I'm rethinking my choice of matching Ralph with Rich... I mean no one can compare to Rich but I was doing closest approximation. Love the idea of figuring this out though. I upset so many people 😂 Just to clarify, this is not meant to be taken seriously, just thought it might be fun.
Sophie Goodman-Merel No
No
Ralph - Jay
Alex - rich
Adam - Mike
Anthony fantano - Jack
St Mi
You - Imbecile
Meh...I'll take it....but no one is Rich though...you need a fat guy with a lovable laugh and the best person on the planet...
I saw Liam Neeson jumping on a fence in the description, and i clapped
IHE can laugh?
holy shit

What do you mean? Laugh is all Alex did in the first episode

Search jarmedia shitposts, there is a video that is purely a compilation of his scream laughing. It’s incredible

Q and A questions:
1:36:33 - Do you think it's important to disregard an actor's scandals when it comes to judging the quality of a movie?
1:47:12 - What's the best performance you've seen wasted on a terrible movie?
1:51:59 - What is the most obnoxious/lazy camera technique to see in films? Also, has it ever been used well?
The first ones a hard question because you shouldn't be giving them money but Kevin Spacey in the usual suspects is one of the best performances ever done
i don't feel so g҉o҉o҉d҉.҉.҉.҉
finally watched Barry Lyndon just so I could listen to this, it better be good.
Sounds like Alex & Ralph wants Ready Player One on Blu-Ray for the Holidays, since they LOVE it so much......
15:11 Ralph doesn't know about the cias history apparently
This show got me into podcasts goddammit
Me too. Bastards.
Do I need to revise for exams. Yes. Will I spend 2 hours listening to this instead. Yes.
Aster I just got out of my AP Chem exam, I deserve this...
Get back to work!
If you enjoyed Barry Lyndon check out some of Kubricks other movies. Full Metal Jacket, Eyes Wise Shut and Shining being the most accessible
He really is the best
References + VR : the MOVIE
IHE and Ralph vs YMS on most subjects 😂
Thanks for recommending Barry Lyndon Ralph I had never seen it and it’s immediately one of my favourite movies now.
Skeletal Bamboozle It’s one of my favorites too, have you seen any of Kubricks other work?
The opening scene of Barry Lyndon is one of my favourite openings ever. It's hilarious but it doesn't hit you right away.
I agree with Alex, Infinity War is great. But Adam is right that everything with the Hulk was dumb
Why is Adam so touchy about people disagreeing with him?
maybe because he actually bothers defending his point and doesn't just succumb to the "oh I see you have an opinion, well I respect your opinion." bullshit that doesn't add anything to the discussion.
mdude I mean theres a difference between defending your points and getting annoyed at every disagreement.
Funny thing is he's actually holding himself back. That's what all the "eh"s are
I don't think he's really that bothered by their opinions he just has an odd way of showing that.
Wow, I’m actually pretty early! But now I’m late for work...
Did Empire Strikes Back have to say "Oh btw there's another movie after this"?
DAMIEN MILLS Did Empire Have people turning to dust?
The cast of Sardonicast have daddy issues.
Kinder eggs aren't banned in the states anymore. Had my first one in the U.S a month ago. I was only able to have them in Romania.
Honestly, if Thanos just created more resources then the population would just increase doubly. Besides, it's set up that all materials are finite.
exactly, these people have no Idea what the laws of thermodynamics are, Energy is finite, the universe is finite, resources CAN'T be Infinite.
Yes, this. I didn’t consider it a plot hole at all, Thanos says it directly -resources are finite and that can’t change.
They are calling the star wars fanbase cancer
But have they seen their fanbase *cue the curb theme*
Cue the curb theme
Im watching half of this until i finish barry Lyndon. I got the criterion blu ray just for this podcast and i still haven't found the time to watch it . And i got it a week ago
The picture of Ralph in the opening had me in fits
If you ever get the chance to see Barry Lyndon in a cinema then jump on it.
Holy shit 49th view
I'm scared for the words on Infinity War. Good thing I love these guys
LowReedExpert1 I would hope Adam would let his pride out and give it a 7 already, he has said it’s the best Marvel movie but stretches so far to not give it anything higher than a 6. He seems to have enjoyed way too much to give it a 6
The Digital zoom was done really well in Kingsman during the fights
I like how no one answered A;ex's Question of what would you do to make this film more enjoyable for you.
I would of liked to hear what Adam & Ralph answered.
Maybe next time.
I watched Barry Lyndon for this review and it turned out to be my new favorite Kubrick film! Thanks Ralph!
AMORES PERROS!
I feel so excited for them to see something in my language and from my country. Can't wait for next podcast :D
God IHE’s avatar looks deathly Ill
Alex's laugh gives me life
My only gripe with Infinity War was the large scale battle in Wakanda - it felt so out of place and boring.
A Sardonicast where Adum is the lenient one? Blasphemy!
It's because Adum is a huge contrarian. It's like he has an inherent need to be a dissenting voice.
Before vanishing Groot said 'Dad..' to Rocket ;(
Andrey Anisimov you telling me that nigga fucked a tree?
AJ Garcia I mean, didn't Rocket "replant" Groot after he originally "died". Wouldn't that symbolically make him his dad?
Cheyenne ok but where did Groot come from before the first guardians of the Galaxy? 🤔🤔🤔🤔
AJ Garcia He came from his own planet, and his species was thought to be extinct or something. Look up the original comics.
Cheyenne you do realize I'm trolling right?
barry lyndon has such an amazing soundtrack
haha I feel like I enjoy the MCU films WAY more than any of these guys.
The original Iron Man is seriously still the best one. The Thor movies are fun. Captain America is great. Guardians of the Galaxy are GOAT. It's a super consistent franchise.
Captain America sucks, the second one is mediocre at best
My brother hated this movie, just because of the ending.
(SPOILER ALERT)
And it wasn't really a critical reason, it was just that he didn't like that they killed of everyone
It's Barry Lyndon! Sure he died!
Yay this is the first movie recommendation I had seen beforehand
If Ant Man was in the movie, he could've shrunk down, crawled up Thano's ass and then get big again and explode him.
When I watched Infinity War, I didn’t know it was just part 1, so I was floored by the ending. I loved it, and Endgame!
Adum One Day: Marvel movies are bland.
The Other: They try too much.
Barry Lyndon? More like barely legal, amirite Ralph? You know what I’m talkin about ;)
Insert strokes joke
Tyler G But fucking dogs is going too far
fuck you
Tyler G sadly
Kubrick was not always cruel to his actors, and Malcom McDowell was disappointed to find out that he wasn't nearly as emotionally involved in their friendship as he appeared on set. Contrast this with directors who fetishize torturing actors pointlessly.
You guys also need to watch Tarkovsky
Ralph was right last episode; I don't think your ever going to get the intro right!
I haven't seen infinity war...
But I'm still watching those spoilers!
