I fell in love with these A bodies when i dated a girl whos father raced these and novas only. Totally tricked them out there light plenty of room under hood for whatever the perfect sleeper. great video as always.
Back in my college years "early 80's" I bought a $600 rust bucket 71 Duster three on the floor w/the big 225 slant six. It was yellow w/the black interior & Duster Stripes. Didn't keep or drive it long. Rough shape and terrible in the snow here in New England. Even w/snow tires on the rear. This 340 Duster above is gorgeous.
We know the body is really awesome when Jay abandons his trademark description of “absolutely straight” in favor of “laser straight”! Beautiful car. Whoever did the restoration would be who I’d commission! Thanks, Jay! 👍👍👍
I used to own a 76 Ply Mouth Duster in Canada. A brand new but plain Jane, clattering, slant six, rust bucket, econo-box POS painted a shit brown. My very first car and nothing like this. It hated cold or wet weather but it was bio-degradable. Despite what people like to say the slant six engine is a POS unless you like no power, foaming oil and constant valve train noise. The muffler and exhaust pipe needed replacing almost every year. But parts were ultra cheap and the car was easy to fix.
From the batcave 🦇 comes this awsome stunning superb dodge duster, could be santas New sledge, wow what a 🏩 hotie she is gourgeus, thanks Jay grams president of volo auto museum and russel for perfect photografy from tom your friend now and always say hello to All at volo cars museum and have a wonderfull Day
After reading all of the comments, no on saw this, @ 5:51, shows the air box on the passenger side is missing the handle for the door. I have had many A Bodies from '63 to '71 and they were all the same type. And for the price they're asking, this car doesn't pass in my book.
All 70 340 Dusters only came w non chrome turn down tips, there was no orther option. Trust me nobody won any national show w those tips. The Mopar guru's would have had their pitch forks out. Nice car orther wise. 👍

Very cool car that you dont see everyday, thanks Jay!
Nice and hard to find Duster. I thought the blackout on the tailpanel went all the way around the tail lights, not positive. Beautiful.
Car looks immaculate
Had a 72 Duster 340. Dusters are bad-ass. Even with less horsepower than the 2 model years before it, it was the King of neighborhood drags.
Beautiful car

Straight as a rifle...
Straight as an arrow...

Beautiful Duster!! Love it!! My guesstimate 80k
Beautiful Duster.. My dad had one but it was the basic model with a 318 2 bbl..

They only put the pentastar on the passenger side so it could be seen from the sidewalk and to save the 3 cents they cost back then.
It was rated at 275 HP for insurance purposes. They were more like 350 HP or more.
THIS ROCKET WITH 4:10:1 GEARS SMOKED A L88 VETTE ON THE DRAG - STRIP , MOPAR OR NO CAR !!!!
Great Duster, I wouldn't change much, stereo and a 4 speed auto, it would be a driver, and probably a daily driver 😊
Nice Al Bundy special!!!
Awesome car 🚗
Wow! So nice

You missed the passenger side rear corner hood is lifting a bit…. From the spring hinge. But nice body.👍
Hermoso Auto 😍lo venden 😍ahun estará disponible 😍? Les mando un cordial saludo y un fuerte abrazo desde Puebla 😀México 😃🤗👍👌😍👋.
What’s the hole in the dashboard for next to the glovebox door?
I think it's a screw hole. There are others too but the lighting made that one stand out
@@jaygrams5046 Thank you.

👍
I have the same car but 4speed. Non chrome tips but thought they were an option.
Very good-looking, particularly for the correct tires, but the exhaust tips look a bit off.
Oooohh
It's not a Dodge, Jay 😊
Oops. Let's keep that our secret
There's a Big Problem with Volo : No Price or Where it was Restored , like your Sh@T Don't St@nk . You must be a Sales Portal ?
Not bad but the rubber floor mat looks installed by a bunch of amateurs.
