I must say Gustavo knocked it outta the park with one. I don’t think I ever heard video game score sound so close do a motion picture score. Yes it still has that arcade linear game feeling with some of the guitar pieces in the score. But in tracks like cycle of violence Gustavo took it up a notch with the level suspense and realism. Like I said it still the last of us but this time stepping away from the arcade style and making it like if you were watching a movie, making it more real and grounded than ever. 10/10.
Well said. In my opinion every "mainstream" game that manages to bring very classical music (like the solo guitar pieces) closer to a broad and also young audience is a major contribution to the art of creating games and soundtracks.
