Your videos have really helped me shape my lessons and point me in the right direction. I wish I knew half of what you know about music ed! I have two questions for you:. For what grades would this lesson be most appropriate? Why do you remove the bars instead of leaving them in place? Thank you for your help!
I’m so glad they have been helpful to you, Kelly. I think this would be good for somewhere around 1st grade. As for taking some bars off, it helps the kids visually to see patterns, and prepares them for the pentatonic scale.
Mr. DelGaudio, this is lovely. But I don't know whether it would bother my kids that from the glock you removed F's and B (for a remaining pattern of 3-2-3-2) but from the virtual xy you removed B and E's (leaving 2-3-2-3).
