People often go on about F1 drivers being the best. For me. Rally drivers are above and beyond F1 drivers. Just because all the money is in F1. Doesn't mean its the best.
Facts bro these guy are literally driving driving fast on narrow roads at the edge of cliffs and doing jumps and shit a f1 driver would shit his pants dude but they are both good in their own way
Do you know how strong you need to be to be an f1 driver just to be ablr to take a turn at speed. And pushing the brake pedal is extremely difficult with most new drivers only being able to use 40 percent of the actual brake. Rally drivers are bad ass and everything but F1 drivers seem way more committed. Rally drivers don't have to worry about hitting a patch of dirty air at 200 mph and befome and airplane.
@@haiven5205some of them would but guys like verstappen and alonso would absolutely send it aswell. Max was in fact denied to race a f1 car on the nordschleife because RB was scared that Max would give 100% even if it's a showrun.
It just feels like more real racing compared to f1, with more regular cars ya know?
And then comes the isle of man TT riders
The way these drivers get around the course is why WRC is better than F1. Shame it doesn't get the same TV coverage as it will bring many many more fans into the sport.

I lived in Indonesia for about 12 years. From the States where it’s all about NASCAR. Well in Indo, they go nuts for F-1 and Moto GP. And I can safely say that between NASCAR and F-1 and Moto GP, you couldn’t pay me to sit down through that crap. Never liked NASCAR, and as it turns out, I find the other two utterly boring as well.
But Rally racing? I would happily watch this all damn day. These guys are the true athletes of motorized sport. Not a millisecond goes by where I am not in complete awe of what they’re doing. Simply put, they are the best drivers on the planet. Absolutely incredible stuff and giant brass balls to go along with it.

Do they get a chance to preview the course prior to a race? Like any practice or are they just flying blind out there?
They get quite a few laps for driver to feel and navigator to prepare his pace notes
These rally car drivers need phenomenal skills and balls of steel

I only now realized that WRC cars run on fossil-free fuel. Kinda wish that World RX went the same route, I hate the engine sound of their cars.
And I'm not saying that as some anti-eletric-vehicle-activist, it's just such a genuinely unpleasant noise.

I never been a fan of this style racing but after watching a few videos i am hook and thrill and adrenalin just from. Watching these guys have gonads the size of basket balls 97% throttled 2% brake..🎉🎉🎉

Can any of these cars be bought for normal road use? Like the old Imprezas and Evos
All cars certified for WRC are road legal as they are required to travel by road between stages.
Nah these are bespoke rally1 and rally2 chassis, they don't share anything with the consumer version. Closest thing you could buy would be the GR Yaris but it's still mechanically different from the rally car.

I live in Canada but I have driven both ocean coasts including some in the US like Maine, Virginia and SCalifornia. Roads anywhere in the world are set into formidable geophysical challenges like hills and mountains. Roads bordering large bodies of water need to respect what nature can do to them, no?@@jone8626
There's rally races all over the country with the American Rally Association, but WRC doesn't come here.
