I think this is not iV version - no charging port visible on left side in front of driver's doors. It is more likely a 2.0 TSI version.

Well it is the Octavia IV, just not the iV. Not sure how they thought that that wouldn't be confusing lol

iV really sucks balls at moose test. This one rotate nicely on turns so more likely is a standard RS without heavy battery on the ass. IV, as a roman mk4, not a iV as plug in hybrid....

It looks pretty slow. I don't see a single reason to label a car with a 1.4 TSi and an electric motor as RS.
You can buy 2.0TSI as RS too
that's a funny observation, considering that this is in fact the 2.0 tsi version
@@MyRealName You're right. I read the caption and it never occurred to me that there might be a different version in the video. But it's even sadder, I don't know why there is a 2.0tsi 180kw when the concert has a 2.0 tsi 221kw engine.
@@BlueBerry-kh3lx Because VW don't want Škodas to be as fast as the R-Models. This is where VW limits Škoda to create the last bit of a difference. Who would buy an expensive Golf R when you can get a bigger Octavia with the same power? It's all because of selling cars.

Its really not that quick 0-60 in 7.2s...needs more should be at least 6.5s
The pure 2.0 TSI RS does that in 6.5
Company car tax will be high..but at 245bhp should still be quicker
Horrible handling. Really dangerous car. Looks on all new VW Group cars (both plug ins or normal combustion) in moose test and compare it with Peugeot or Toyota and other manufacturers. Very sad.
Moose test is not everything. The Toyota Supra also failed the moose test
@@Silvestreek It's absolutely clear, that Supra made it different and was totally stable compare with Octavia 4, Superb iV, Passat GTE... Small slide is not the same as big oversteer ending outside the road.
Don't buy it then man :) it's that easy.
@@jakubzitek9218 Zas tak snadný to není dneska vybrat dobrý auto. Každá značka umí něco líp a něco hůř. Peugeot byl sice stabilní, ale zklamal v tolika věcech, že šel z domu a znovu se vracím ke koncernu. Nicméně platí, že ani Passat není extra jistý v krizové situaci.
Yes it is, mine f31 is far more better handling on corners and it is just as quick than this car and it is not top of the range what comes to bmw 3 series wagons but this is and the result is really disapoiting....vrs that and vrs it ...blaah..what a joke
