At last, someone made a W Swain build. Really cool build to scout and help other lanes while in mid lane.
Zwag, make a Luden's Tempest or Night Harvester one next time with max item haste if NH.

Even as a casual player, dropping a Swain W on the enemy from a lane over makes me feel like such a big brain genius. It's such a satisfying ability when it lands.

Damn this strategy is nice it's like giving extra pressure on all lane
It's almost the entire point of the character, most people just didn't play him that way because when he originally launched with this rework he was absurdly busted, so people played him top a lot and as a bruiser mid laner.

It has such "highlight play" potential its insane.
I think first strike would be fun with this build too. You could farm money off of enemies globally. Also, maybe build archangels - it would solve mana problems and I think it gives some haste too.
I also wish you would try w-ing toplane too. They had it good for way too long!

@@RagnarokCo He was targetting whoever he saw. If he saw the evemy adc they took priority, but besides that he wasn't restricting himself. He did say something about trying to make the adc ragequit tho.

@@strongerthanever2039 I think it would work way better in toplane too. A lot more trading going on, especially with CC like Sion Q, Jax E and so on, and you throwing 150dmg on top of their cc (base damage at lvl 5 with 3 points into W) would be a huge deal everytime lol

Senna didn't went AFK bc of your w. Maybe she left bc of you overall but most probably she just dc'd. She was standing still in the base before so she probably had internet problems.

How you know if dc'd? Tbh Rq seems far more reasonable. The times she didnt move she might was typing or whatever. But you cant know that bud

2. Like I said, the times she didn't move was probably from bad internet connection. If she was typing it would be most likely in all chat, so we would see.
3. Rq isn't the more reasonable possibility. It's the one we would all like to see. But I'm not coping. It was 70% chance a dc.
I'd love to see this with Harvest, imagine how many stacks you could get farming all the lanes.

As though for every cannon Zwag misses he goes out and suffocates a random jogger and looks deep into their eyes, them pinned to the ground, Zwag crying directly into their face "My cannon, my cannon, my cannon." When they die he pops up and smiles ear to ear and with a chipper tone to his voice he says "Oh cool, I got it. My Q does extra dmg to minions and with the liandrys I can basically farm with 1 button." Then he skips away.

Gotta give the Jinx in the first game some props, they were good at dodging those Swain W's
Seen better. I play a lot of Swain and in my experience, the longer a game drags on the better they get at dodging, if you were even hitting in the first place. Their brains just get primed to immediately side-step once they hear that telltale noise. Almost pavlovian really. You can use that to your advantage though as you saw in that first game, it made them run back into his teammates without thinking because they were just automatically side-stepping it.
In general though your best bet is to mostly use it on opponents who are already slowed.
I actually loved this build so much, you can affect other lanes so easily
tried this build as swain supp. make both the adc and support cry the hell out of them and their jungle goes afk xDDDDD

You should try HP to AD Pyke.
Day 3 of asking for full AP ivern MID.
I know ivern is usually trapped to the jungle, but playing him mid you can be super oppressive in lane, because once you hit level 5 you get basically perma red and blue buff in lane. Just go his normal mage build and add lich bane and Maybe nashors and youll do alot of damage to turrets aswell.
I played Swain the other day in Aram without previous knowledge of his skills, and honestly, I fell in love

Start with Doran's ring for the extra AP early, then sell later. Max Q>W>E. Ult is actually not that influent, but you may throw in a Demonic Embrace to ramp up its damage.
Generally the strategy would be to stack Grasp and Heartsteel as much as possible while dealing a ton of damage with the empowered auto. Swain gets a lot of bonus HP from its passive, and also it heals every time for 9% total health at level 18.
24:30 lol, I never noticed this oversight from Riot. Usually all CDR Stuff is Unique Passiv, but not the Kodex O.o

Thing is, you can get your heartsteel stacks very easily - you just pull ppl in. Late game, wiht rylais too, they can't get away anyways.
