So happy to see clips from this iconic christmas eve gig, I was actually there that night, it was the first live gig I had ever been to and the first time seeing Toyah live. The atomosphere in the theatre was really electric. Toyah looked invredible and sounded amazing, theband were really on form too, I went to this gig at a very important turning point in my life at that time. I was a young teenager and was going through my transition,I was homeless at the time and got money for a ticket by selling the big issue and handing out flyers for clubs and bars. Tyaj began this gig with the song "Good Morning Universe" which is still my all time favourite song by her. She limbed down a ladder on the set in the bots se was wearing whilst sining that song, defibily making an entrance. It was such a great night it really was,and my life chabged for the bteer in thge days after this gig. So seiing videos of this gig always takes me back to thar time and makes me smile and reminds me of how far I have come in my life. Toyah was a real hero to me at the time,a role model of sorts and she gave me the courage to change myself and my life in the way I knew Ineeded to. I have been a life long fan ever since. Toyah is the person I have seen in concer the most times (and counting!) She is still a hero to me and always will be. Her confidence in who she was at the time of this iconic gig inspired confidence in me which at the time I realy needed. So excited for the Annthem re-relases that I pre-ordered to arrive and for seeing Toyah on tthe Anthem tour aswell. Her live shows now are still so uplifting and joyus as they were back then. I hope this concer comes out in DVD format at some point in the future.Thank you Toyah for inspirng a young teenager to totally change his life and I hope to be seeing you live more in the future too.Your zest for life is always inspiring. Long may it continue. And thank you for showing us moments from iconic gigs like this. Seeing this made me happy. (Matt)
What a wonderful time she gave us all energy and confidence to kick ass and to do what we were made to do in life live and let live with due respect she still lives and follows her dreams with exuberance

Superb.
Love the song but never seen it live - absolutely brilliant.
Thank you for sharing!!
Watched this, when it was 1st broadcast, still have a set of professional photos, too. 🤘🤘🤘
I cant see her stopping 🙏
Rhythmically this track would make amazing remix material. Maybe even with a breakbeat vibe.
Angle and me love to here it again

Absolutely classic Toyah never stop . So what if i dye my hair ......
Love Anthem. Another thing I’ve noticed that this track has a similar feel to Peter Gabriel’s ‘San Jacinto’
