Great advice Tiana! As a French teacher, I completely agree that it’s possible to move to France without speaking the language - but it’s also rewarding to start learning once you’re here. The tips you shared are spot on for beginners! For anyone feeling overwhelmed, just remember that small steps make a big difference. Learning French can be a fun and empowering journey.
Super advice ty. You are so right when you say being afraid holds you back. People who dive in to speak not caring how they sound always make more progress. I was trying to remember how I learned English and that was the key. Cheers on living your life to its fullest.
Hi Tiana! last year I was researching where in Europe to get my masters degree and after I learned about the alternance program (from your video!!) I dropped all other countries from my list and started researching in France. I've finished up my applications and I'll find out in the April where I'm going!! Thank you so much for that video it was actually life-changing (:
Google translate is definitely helpful but wordreference is much more accurate! My French teacher knew everyone who used google translate so she highly recommended wordreference and ever since I’ve never gone back!
Yeah, certainly. Avoid Google. I use several ones, but Word Reference is probably the best indeed. What is more, when you are french learning english, Google or Reverso only give you the american pronunciation............. :s This is why i gave up on those.
I love French television, even commercials; and French music too. I will check out your playlist. Pretty helps and you are. God bless you. Au Revoir. 💐 💐💐 Hmm that rhymes. But then I am a poet. ☺️💐☺️
I've always wanted to move to Paris. I never been there. I've always wanted to wait until I could afford to come but, now it's over 20 years later. I'm studying massage therapy. I graduate in November. I still can't afford it. I was looking into being a au pair but, the agency I was looking told me I was too old. I'm 37 years old. I applied to American university of Paris. I got accepted but, I barely have loans and my pell is max out. I have my associates degree in media production. I want my bachelor's degree. School there is out the question. I waited to late to think of all the things I could think of. The only thing I can think of is starting my spa , becoming a physical therapy assistant here in the united states. Hopefully one day I can make my dream come true. In less you have any ideas
Thank you for sharing your experience, I'd like to know how did you do for keeping touch with the french family. I'm a Latin woman living in France and I'm interested to know more about the possibilities of study and work at the same time without to know the language.
Hi Tiana! Would you be willing to talk sometime soon? I’d appreciate any advice. I’m thinking of moving to France in the next few weeks and create a life there. Thank you for the video!
Not a stupid question at all! I do get nervous flying sometimes (mostly just during take off and landing) but I was really exciting about moving to Paris so the good feelings outweighed the nervousness ❤️
Are people in Nice France rude I had some ugly curly haired women literally stare at my leggings and trainers? Wtf I just arrived in France and I’m not sure about the people. It’s extreme some nice and some nasty people here? Is this true?

It depends what field you work in, but most places want you to speak at least a little bit of French
My dream is to visit the US

Stupid question but I’m afraid of planes so I wanted to ask if you were afraid of going too
