nice my son we went to reyes creek he caught 5 trout the last one was 3 feet guys if anybody fishes there when you see ghost town and a little billboard walk 20 steps and you,ll a tiny water fall thats where the bigger fish are the farther down you go the bigger the fish are and and my son brought a net to clear out the stuff in the water and branches and use to fish :)

Those trout were brookies aka brook trout. I don’t know we had these. Also what entrance did you go for the los Padres forest I go to the one by greenfield

Ya know I thought they were brookies as well... but I was told that was actually a fairly rare native rainbow species out here and also a brookie would have more of an orange color on its fins. I’m not 100% sure, haha but it was pretty damn cool regardless 😊 And I think it was near Ojai.

I’m headed to the Southwest in a couple weeks for probably 4 months of camping and some work if needed maybe share a campground
Stay back 6’ though don’t like rubbin shoulders 😂😂😂

Use the backside of your knife blade to start a fire, does the same thing but saves your blade, Great video thanks.

Haha oh yeah definitely man, I should have mentioned that is just the little garbage knife that came with the fire starter kit and I only use it for that. I would never do that to my real knives 👊🏽😁

I never ever pick the site next to the restroom

Definitely not! 🤦🏻‍♂️😂😁 But when you drive a couple hours to a first come first serve campground and that’s the best they have available, you do what you gotta do and make the best of it. 😉🤙🏽
