First let me say, I have never had a bad time at any of the Beaches or Sandals that we have been to. I can assure you that your will have a great time at Beaches Ocho. The resort is small and does not have a lot of choices for restaurants. The food was very good at the French and Neptunes. I because the resort is small it makes it great for getting to know the staff. I have to say the staff was a lot of fun and loved to interact with the guest. The price difference with Beaches Ocho compared to BTC and BEaches Negril is very different. It is much cheaper than the other two Beaches which lowered our expectations. We are heading to Beaches Negril next month so stay tuned as I will have a VLOG posted on it also. We booked Negril last May while at Beaches Ocho. Have fun! relax and enjoy your time while at Beaches. Do me a favor, tell Romaine at the dive shop I said hello. 😎

I will have to let you know how that one is when I return. L 1) Beaches TC is BEUTIFUL and by far the best. It is pricey so be prepared. Don't forget to use your Sandals select points.

Mo Vang, there is NO comparison when it comes to T&C vs BO. BTC is amazing and exceeds all expectations BUT it is twice as much compared to Beaches Ocho. In June we went to Beaches Negril and loved it. Still not as good as BTC. Since it was several thousand dollars cheaper it also met our expectations. All Beaches are great and we have made lots of great memories at all three resorts. Beaches OCHO is the smallest and cheapest with not as much to do. Because you pay less at BO your expectations should change. with that being said, BO had AMAZING staff which and I would say they were better than all Beaches together. Beaches Ocho: - Small private beach - GREAT Staff! - Not a lot of choices to eat at - GREAT diving - Cheaper than all of the Beaches - signifantly cheaper Beaches Turks - Amazing resort - Expensive (even for entry level room) family of four is around $7000 to $10,000 with out flying - Great places to eat - The best water and diving I have aver been to. - Great water park - BLU,BLUE,BLUE water with a great beach! Hope that helps! You can not go wrong on any of the Beaches! we have loved all of our trips to Beaches or Sandals! Toby Carter Thanks for the information....I saw your Beaches Negril video as a well and I like it too....I agree that Beaches Ocho is smaller with a small beach. My wife and 2 teen age daughters will not like it. We will decide on Beaches Negril or T&C. Yes, creating memories is priceless. Money, you can always make but quality family time is so important. Great video. I noticed diving is part of the beaches experience. Do you need to be a certified diver to take part in this? At Beaches TC what 'resort' would you recommend staying at?
Jason Bjerke hi, I didn't make the video but I went to the same resort, you do need to be a certified diver but they have a 2 hour lesson I believe which let's you go. I've also been to beaches negril when I was younger. The BBQ park and pizza place is faster and better at negril but I liked the buffet much better in Ochoa rios. Both places have VERY friendly staff that are very fun. A few of the staff even went to club liquid with me and my friends. The beach in ocho rios is a lot smaller and there are a lot of steps. The waterslides were a lot more fun here than negril (me and my friends were 18)
Jason, First thanks for checking my video out. Keep your eyes out over the next few months. I am heading to Sandals Granada in a few weeks and heading to Beaches Negril in May. I received my Open Water certification five years ago at Sandals Grande in St. Lucia ($300). You do not need to be Open Water cert when you go to Beaches or Sandals. However, you will need to get "Resort Cert" which will cost you around $100. That cert will allow you to dive all week, up to 35 feet deep, with a Dive Master. The "Resort Cert" will expire when your trip is over. If you decide to do the "Open Water" certification ($300) you will be able to dive 60 feet deep and you will be cert for life. Hope that answers your question.
Kim Yates you can ask your Butler to set up a taxi if you and your husband want to check out Sandals Ochi. You can also ask the resort manager to set it up.
At the minimum you will need to be Resort Certified which can be provided your first day at any Sandals or Beaches. anchorblazer - first of all thanks for checking out my channel. Wow, where do I start. Let's see, hopefully Beaches has the free snorkel cruise with the trip to Duns. You will enjoy that. If you are a diver make sure you sign up. The diving is pretty good. Lots of great trench diving. The resort does not have a lot to do outside of the gates. Hook up with Romane from the dive shop and have fun in the water park. The resort is small but very fun due to the staff. anchorblazer - I have a GoPro 4 black addition and it works well for scuba and all the action excursions. We actually went to wall mart and bought some cheap aqua socks and brought them with us. If you are planning on Dunns they make your wear aqua socks.
anchorblazer the blue water hole is a very fun excursion. Me and my family went on it you climb a waterfall and when you get to the top you jump off!! And also the water is really cool. But there is one more thing, they have this kids club that me and my brother went too the have a dance club some nights, they play games and stuff it's a good way to make friends while your there overall this place is amazing. 😂
Disappointed to learn from your comments that Beaches, Turks and Caicos leads Beaches, Jamaica when the Beaches çhain is owned by Jamaicans, if I'm not mistaken. I wonder why this is so?
Hello Janet, The staff at Beaches Ocho was way better than Beaches Turks. I was just saying that Beaches Turks is a much better resort because it is way bigger and has way more options. The water at Turks is off the chart. Saying all of that we LOVE the island of Jamaica and the locals. Beaches Negril is almost as nice as Beaches turks. Feel free to check all three of my Beaches VLOGS and hopefully it will shine some light on why I made that statement. Take care!!!

Negril with out question. However, Ochi was good and he staff was better at Ochi. But, BO resort can not compare to Negril.
