A lot of people are mentioning that a big reason as to why 727 became as popular as it was is because after cookiezi set his original score on the map, he retired it with HDHR, getting slightly worse accuracy and 2 misses with the play also being worth exactly 727pp. I’m sorry I forgot to include this in the video and I’ll do better next time.

I am sorry to say this but your video is incomplete. It is missing a very important part of the history of 727. As others have already commented he tried to fc blue zenith with hdhr but missed and got 727 pp again. If this hadn’t happened then the 727 meme wouldn’t even have been close as big as it is today. The 727 meme wasn’t created just because it was the first ever 700+ pp play. His hdhr play set it in stone.
Yeah this part was missing.
727 was massive instantly, the mass of players couldn't imagine some other doable pp record at the time, and it was so fitting that cookiezi got the record when he did. Even if he hadn't gotten another 727pp play, it would probably still be the main osu! meme

This video takes me back to 2015. Crazy to see how the game and it's community have developed and score limits have been pushed to crazy extends. I remember watching shige set this score live on twitch, good old days. Even though I'm no longer into this game, I still crack up a lil when I come across 727.
When I heard of 727 becoming a thing, it feels like that number was a coincidence of two events based on osu!'s new ranking system.

Help I'm seeing 727 everywhere around me. While checking the time I coincidentally happen to see it at 7:27 it happens like 3-4 times a week. I usually wake up at 9:00 but few days ago I woke up early and checked the time, it was 7:27 AM. I was playing clash of clans and collected my dark elixir, it happened to be fu*king 727. I'm not kidding this sh*t is making my mind crazy.
Edit: Back here after 2 months too add to the list. Today i went for medical checkup and my weight was 72.7 kg. WTF I'M SERIOUS, NOW IM SURE THERE IS A 727 GHOST HAUNTING ME.
Edit: I found a car parked outside my house with the number plate 7727. I took a picture, laughed and moved on. I have become numb to 727 now i see it constantly everywhere.
