Maddie's Season 81 team under Coach Oliver Almadro that boasted the tallest Ateneo Lady Eagles lineup ever? Or Denden's Season 77 squad that made history by going 16-0 and winning a second straight championship under Coach Tai Bundit.

No doubt, S77 over S81. That season sweep speaks a lot.

I personally like the season 81 team because Maddie is my favorite Ateneo player and I am a fan of middle attacks, but I think the season 77 team is stronger. In my opinion the strong blocking of s81 team is not enough to stop the strong and fast offense of s77.

Opposite - 77 (close fight though)

In my mind, Alyssa’s presence in ‘77 would be the big difference in offense. Defense-wise, ‘81 blocking advantage is neutralized by ‘77 superior digging/receiving.
Check mo naman kalaban nila noong S77. Nandun pa mainstay ng La Salle: Baron, Macandili, Galang altho na injure sa last part, Fajardo, Reyes, halos lahat nandun key players nila compared sa S81 ng La Salle. Pero in fairness Maddie is the biggest revelation after Valdez post era.
i'll go for 77. walang butas yung floor defense nung time na yun mygosh. yun din yung year na very thai na yung galawan nila inside the court. inembrace na talaga nila program ni coach tai nung 77.
Season 77! It was a historic 16-0 feat and Valdez's spike was at its peak. Mas all around talaga yung 77 ehhh but I still love the Season 81 hehe pinaka magandang blocking team yun.

watched the choco mucho and creamline after anton talked about it and omfg the head to head battle the whole game, esp the setters was amazing. creamline won in the fifth set, because ly's power is just out there but yeah, it genuinely is one of the best match up talaga.

Mananalo talaga ang s77 kasi nga mas magaling sila sa digging and receiving. Tsaka si Morente and Aly are consistent.

For me S77 why? Alam 'yung connect-connect na sila, receiving and digging plus the setting then the spiking. Hindi man sila magaling mag-block pero pagdating sa defense talga...
