The issue and the question is not about fapping. But about fapping to porn. Fapping is good and beneficial to your health while porn addiction may sound weird, is a real thing as any other addiction out there. It changes your brain that much that you may even not be able to perform without porn, for that matter you may not even be interested in real women anymore. Biggest issue i find with it is that is way too easy to access porn at young ages thus increasing the probability of getting hooked. Another issue is that it feels too easy to avoid talking or thinking about porn as a real threat. We all know that smoking is bad but still may people still smoke. Companies keep the pressure with new aggressive campaigns as e-cig and whatever. The effects of porn are not that noticeable as the ones from smoking are. Add the fact that are tabu more or less, it makes for a pretty easy to fell for trap. And you'll be aware of the problem when is probably too late and even worse you would more than likely not be interested in treating that problem.
TLDR: Fapping good. Porn bad. :)

I'm in my mid 40s, have been addicted to porn for a long time. I grew up in the USSR where porn was taboo. A classmate once brought playing cards with fully naked women but it was a rarity for sure.
