SP/SSP are not always turned around in the box so you will want to check the code on the back of these cards. Also there are numbered parallels that you will not know you got unless you look at the back towards the card number. That is where the numbered are printed. Just found this one out.
It's mostly the " common player " sp that's not flipped around and also the advanced stats aren't flipped around either.
I've definitely found more than a couple Advanced Stats when sorting through my boxes of base. Same with Bazooka Backs from Gypsy Queen. I own 3 of them and all of them had just been stuck in a box of base.
Pulled shohei ohtani SSP out of here and it wasn't flipped over, now I go through these alot slower now.
I've had no luck with hanger boxes at all, pulled nothing good from them, all my luck has been in blasters. So far I've pulled a Witt Jr. and Jackie Robinson SP in the same blaster and a Wander Franco Home Field Advantage out of another blaster. No Julio Rodriguez SP... yet
I agree they definitely need to shorten the hr derby. So far Walmart in my area only has had the 2 pack blisters.
Last week I pulled an Independence Day base variation Juan Soto out of 78 from series 1 hanger box. Pretty cool border to go with the Nationals uniforms.

Cool cards. Some of these looked so much like trouper's best published a few years ago. Uh, just slab rookies, parallels inserts and autos.
I bought a pack of 2022 Topps series 2 and got the Wander Franco RC card with gold cup. That is a card that is a SSP card.

I pulled a wander auto numbered out of #25 was a red parallel my best pull this season series 2 hanger box I bought 1 box at walgreens
I've had decent luck pulling SP's out of retail packs sold at Wawa's. Recently I scored a Frank Robinson SP variant, as well as a Frank Thoams SP variant. Not bad

I bought 2 hobby and about 7 blasters no ssp so i bought Rodriguez for $350. Oh well And I saw a co hangers at target a few weeks back. Good job
I actually just pulled Rodriguez short print out of a blaster box from Walmart yesterday I put it on eBay for $450 and it showed with an hour lol

Pulled a sp Juan yepez from one hanger and a Bobby witt Jr 1987 grey auto /199 from the other.
Also a sp and numbered helmet mrm from one blaster

Yeah, I'm getting old and can't read any more 😂 After I made the video I looked again at the box and saw the Sps and Ssp odds listed. For some reason I thought they had RC sps odds on the box but that Topps Chrome Platinum Anniversary with the Mickey Mantle odds. Thanks for the info!
I was lucky to get a vintage stock card out of a blaster box. Only opened one but got lucky

I pulled a Witt jr. Short print out of the 2nd hanger I opened. Check out ‘Step in the box’ on TH-cam, he’s opened a bunch of hangers and pulled a jrod out of there, and explains the odds in the first video

Very true, I've been doing this long enough and still was confused lol. Correct Sp and Ssp are usually turned around. The odds I was looking for were right on the box. I had been looking for RC SP which aren't a thing, I don't know what I was thinking. The only thing I could think of is that I had been looking Topps Chrome Platinum Anniversary odds and they list the Mickey Mantle SP odds on the box so I thought they did that for RC SP (which I knew already they didn't lol). 😂

That was some real tough luck for Sale the other day. Hopefully he can come back strong next season. I may hare the Red Sox, but I never want to see them getting hurt like that.
Yeah Sale has not had a good fews days, it's too bad. The Red Sox got a few good years out of him but nothing close to the length of his contract.
