Disraeli gears regardless of what's played sounds incredible, well done dowd and papelardi- no doubt in my mind that it's one of the greatest classics - ageless
Jack Bruce was so yummy....still a very wonderful, lovely man. But they dont make em liek that anymore......*sigh*....So beautiful. Was OBSESSED with this for years! YEARS. Love that vinyl. Always in my heart. ♥
Are you out of your mind Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding rank amateurs listen to wheels of fire, especially the live sides There’s no other group that were in their league. They were the first super group everybody else copy them from Hendrix to Led Zeppelin.
Cream broke up when Eric heard Music From Big Pink and thought "i should be doing something different" and it just so happened that noone in Cream got along so that made it easier.
@alexlancer11 His lack of talent doesn't really matter. Because he has been a critic for so long, he knows more about the evolution of British rock music than most other people.
I don't thing it was RS that broke up Cream so much as the fact that Ginger Baker was making a lot less money than Clapton & Bruce because they got publishing royalties while he only got performance money. It also didn't help that Baker couldn't stand Bruce repeatedly deafening him with his amp/speaker setup. Incidentally, that problem came right back up at the reunion concerts and pretty much killed off chances at them making new music together again!
Yeah, that's pretty much the concept of subjectivity. He's entitled to view things as he wishes, isn't he? He's paid pretty handsomely to do it, too. Not too bad, I think.
UH the magazine had nothing to do with their break up. Like in most cases, they had their tentions and if you ever watch any interviews by any of the band members, they're tell you the same thing.
@NoRosesForMe Mate, it's not his fault he was alive in that period of time and witnessed the psychedelic rock scene of the late '60s. He's NOT in all documentaries, don't be exaggerant and also he ain't worth the trouble.
@winstonsmith60626 also the drummer from iron butterfly did the cape thing. i dont understand why they have a cape but i guess its becuase of the time. you know that the 60s were full of crazy shitt outfits and this is one of them.
I have no clue what i should draw from your statement. You're either telling me that it doesn't matter wether you're credible when you're getting money for it... or that everybody can think whatever he wants and shouldn't be criticized even if he posts his crap to the public.
I love Cream, but when you compare them to the only other power trio of the time - The Jimi Hendrix Experience - they sound like amateurs. Disraeli Gears is a good album, but it is nowhere near the sonic brilliance your hear in Electric Ladyland.
@Clubs4Metal BY THE WAY (!!) ,,,I have refused to buy Rolling Stone since their little issue featuring THEIR idea of the best guitarists of all time. It was bullshit. RORY GALLAGHER was not even mentioned. He was / is the absolute best. Ever. And the man was not even mentioned. No surprise. Its all about who sells and who is the topping the charts HERE in the states. Rolling Stone can burn. So,,,,ya see why I hate that over-rated rag? xx But I do wish you peace. hehe ♥
fricke is the guy who thinks that curt cobain is the 12th best guitar player of all times LOL. Says everything about him, he also puts Eric Clapton on 4. in front of Stevie Ray Vaughan and other Giants who are clearly better than him. go look it up its a free article on the RS mag.
You need to listen more closely to Free's albums, especially Highway if we're debating originality.Cream was great though….Don't know why I called them gay….Clapton was a little fruity though with that "FRO"
My favorite all time band!

Awesome! I adore Cream! I just got Gold Cream and it's awesome!
Classic album and a classic perm haircut from Clapton here.
A "must watch".
"Eric was God at the time..." haha Jack Bruce is a boss.
thanks for the upload!!
That's bad ass how Ginger is over 70 years old and still smoking.
R.I.P Jack Bruce
Hey, poster: you can upload the whole thing in one piece now, if you'd like.
Make no mistake it was Stigwood who broke up Cream. Turned done the Monterey Pop gig among other disasters
@1954telecaster... hope you found your way here & enjoy this great documentary! XD
Just wondering, do you have a 54 telecaster? Because I’ve got a 54 Stratocaster that’s pretty cool.
Chris Welch was a great music journalist. Is he still with us? Hope so. Went to college once a week with his little sister.
Pete brown, Ginger baker, Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, Felix, GENIOUS
@nikshmenga No problem; glad you enjoyed it.
"we're down in the studio, we need some words" hahahaa
Are you out of your mind Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding rank amateurs listen to wheels of fire, especially the live sides There’s no other group that were in their league. They were the first super group everybody else copy them from Hendrix to Led Zeppelin.
is eric clapton wearing a bape shirt lol
Is it wrong that I absolutely love Wrapping Paper?
Cream broke up when Eric heard Music From Big Pink and thought "i should be doing something different" and it just so happened that noone in Cream got along so that made it easier.
@MrPman851 Ginger Baker is responsible for Cream not Ahmet Etegun.
@alexlancer11 His lack of talent doesn't really matter. Because he has been a critic for so long, he knows more about the evolution of British rock music than most other people.
Eric pulling off the 'fro at 1:00 ;)
@alexlancer11
You are quite right, sir. It's like being interrupted by a talking horse, but not the cool kind, like Mr Ed.
Is that eric burdon singing with manfred mann at 3:52?

@nookie077 What do you do all this for?
Where's part 5?????
Cuándo daban algo diferente al precio de la hostoria.
Hahahaha nice "warning" in the description.......
UH the magazine had nothing to do with their break up. Like in most cases, they had their tentions and if you ever watch any interviews by any of the band members, they're tell you the same thing.
4:00 lol
MANFRED MANN
"manfred mann"
Does he actually put down other bands? If so, which ones? I'm just curious......
"Wrapping Paper" was a mistake, hmm?
drummer is the burger king guy for sure

@William6likes6Rock I doubt he enjoys it. He just isn't strong enough to quit.
Ginger Baker with a cape WTF is this his Dracula outfit?
@Bangoose strange brew
jajajajaj Eric's hair wasn't that bad was it?

Because of Jimi. Bruce was a better bassist than Redding and Baker was leagues ahead of Mitch.

Aprende ingleeeeeees!
De paso que disfutas viendo el video, mejorarás tu curriculum vitae :-)
you are missing something, it seems
i always thought this LP was very overrated, lots of filler
Pink Floyd rulez! ^^
naiomi
The correct term is "blowhard", not that I agree that he is, mind you.
What's wrong with Ginger? He looks very bad here..
I love Cream but holy shit Tales of Brave Ulysses and White Room are the same freaking song.
fricke is the guy who thinks that curt cobain is the 12th best guitar player of all times LOL. Says everything about him, he also puts Eric Clapton on 4. in front of Stevie Ray Vaughan and other Giants who are clearly better than him. go look it up its a free article on the RS mag.
If you think Stevie is better than Clapton 🤷♂️
Stevie Ray just got on the wrong helicopter, but he was never better than Clapton…🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Sorry to say but Free beat Cream at their own game, especially with originality. Plus FREE didn't do that gay stuff. Just straight up rock and blues.
Cream opened the door that Free walked through. Free was a good blues-rock band, but nowhere near as original as Cream.
