I think the conversations between clark and ray really shows Routh’s acting chops. He legitimately seems like two different people despite having the same face. Even their builds and postures look different
Routh did take some of Christopher Reeves' ques on how to act as Clark Kent vs. Kal El. In the Reeves Superman movies, Christopher always tried to look "smaller" as to not give away that Clark and Superman was the same person.

I love the depiction between both Ray Palmer and Clark Kent (Brandon Routh) one being the geeky less confident variant, the other being the most confident, stronger looking variant. It really shows how good he is at acting

I hope everyone knows that this Superman is not the kingdom come version you think he his. In fact, he’s actually the one from the movies played by both the late Christopher Reeve and Brandon Routh himself but either way, seeing him playing the same guy played years ago, that was epic.
sure, but why dont you think the Reeve/Routh Superman could not become Kingdom Come Superman after many years? Kingdom Come Superman was originally just Superman to begin with.
He is the same Superman from "Superman Returns," (who canonically at least had the same events as the Reeve films happen to him); IIRC he wears the Kingdom Come outfit for similar reasons that Kingdom Come Superman did: just like in the novel the Joker gassed the Daily Planet, killing most people inside (including Lois).
The difference is that KC Superman then lost faith in himself and what he was doing and retired for years, while this Superman apparently mourned but kept going, even becoming Editor-In-Chief of the Daily Planet.

I wish they used more doppelgangers and people from other Earths as the paragons. It's odd how the most important people in the multiverse happen to be from Earth 1 mostly. It didn't really feel like a multiverse threat because of it.

I'm with you there. Most people know a lot more about Barbara Gordon than Kate Kane from all sorts of media besides comics (ei. Movies, Tv Shows, Games). A Batgirl show would have been amazing, similar concept with Bruce missing and Barbara needing to step up as the hero Gotham needs with cameos from her father, Alfred and possibly Nightwing. Hell, when the series inevitably ends, they could recreate Barbara getting shot by the Joker like in The Killing Joke.
I think i remember an animated movie where Batwoman had sex with Batman on a rooftop. I don't remember who she was. Not sure if it was Barbara cause Batgirl was also present in the movie

Kara being gooey over Kal in that scene was a bit of a call back to the dismissed idea for a Superman movie, part three I think where she was gonna be in it and well her and Superman were gonna get it on but Christopher Reeves pulled the plug on that idea.. thankfully!

i actually really liked this infinte crisis. but the way they did Kevin Conroy dirty was wild. I feel like they could have made him a good batman of the future and have him die that way. And it be passed down to batwoman.

Turns out Superman Returns isn’t a direct sequel to the Reeve films. It more or less takes place in an adjacent universe, where only certain elements are similar but in a completely different time period. It’s more a spiritual sequel.
Now we know how big Ray really is.

I never seen these episodes and how many seasons? Looks like I'm gonna have play catch-up. Brandon was awesome as Superman. In looks, he is Chris Reeve's mini me. I binged watched Superman and Lois. Tyler is great in that. He went from the supernatural to a superhero.

Brandon Route’s Superman was amazing and underrated. It’s sad they never made a sequel to Superman returns. Though it’s probably for the best, only because I read they were planning to kill off Jason, maybe. And really like Jason white as Superman’s son.
What if it could have been the original Superman-Batman crossover by telling the story of Batman showing up in Metropolis to chase down the Joker, but the Joker killing Lois, Jason, jimmy, perry etc that makes Superman become who he is here. I think that would be a good use for the idea of killing off Jason and the others.
