This is such an important topic and thank you for sharing with so much passion. It’s heartbreaking how societal and parental pressure often prioritize staying over safety. The point about financial independence not being a shield against abuse is eye-opening. More conversations like this are needed to break the silence and encourage people to seek help and support. Also, people must “learn and muster courage” to seek help.
Hi babygirl, the story is very sad. But just a point of correction. There is No Proverbs that says Adults don't lie. We are all human beings. My advice is if you are facing violence in your marriage. Please protect your self and your kids. You need to leave that marriage.Period!!!
@@margretbossman2493 hi mummy, thank you for the correction, I actually meant to say a saying. I agree with your point and I hope that everyone in abusive marriages have the courage to leave.
@@iberuchemaryann4073 hi Mary, unfortunately, yes it is. I know of someone whose mother you’d argue isn’t hers because of the way the woman treats her. I’d reach out to her to get consent to share her story if it’s okay by her.
@ it’s best that you cannot relate. I’d like to think that it might not be an intentional act and would make excuse of being ignorants or unexposed but then again, home should be where the love is loudest the most.

Not to go sideways but is it possible for one’s biological parents not to mean well
