What right do we have in blaming innocent elephants when we made roads and ply through the heart of their terrain with complete disregard for their life, safety? Humans are responsible for killing wild animals for millennia. Human population is increasing at the cost of wild nature. Natural calamities are mostly due to human misuse of nature.

So people should stop feeding animals though with this animal it has become a habit and you cannot undo the habit. Wild life authority has displayed boards in Sri Lanka not to feed animals. But there’s no one to monitor these rules. So the fault is in humans and you cannot blame animals for that.
