Both are great instruments to play with. Guitar for riffs, soloing, melodies... And bass for groove, funky riffs, soloing,rythmic foundation. Love play each of these
As both a guitarist and bassist I absolutely loved this, props for throwing in Zappa and Vulfpeck on the bass side and I loved that the final solo was the outro from Comfortably Numb, that was an absolute power move. If you ever do another one of these, I'd suggest Tommy the Cat by Primus, any bass solo from Cliff Burton (Anesthetia, Call of Kthulu (even though the bass is buried as hell Cliff does a lot of awesome stuff) or Orion, or even the solos at the beginning and middle of Pigs (Three Different Ones) or Hey You from Pink Floyd as well. Ho solo una curiosità da chitarrista (in parte autodidatta, più qualche lezione) di livello basso/-issimo: ho sentito male o c’è una piccola differenza in un punto del solo di C.Numb dovuto al fatto che ti “mancano” dei tasti? So che esistono chitarre con 22 (credo) e 24 tasti, e ad un certo punto mi è sembrato che dovesse esserci un bending dove non c’era, o viceversa (come ho detto sono ancora scarso😅) P.s. nel caso fosse una cazzata scusa se ti ho fatto perdere tempo😂 mi ha colpito perché è quasi indistinguibile dall’originale tranne per quel dettaglio che non mi so spiegare
