Great performance of this lovely piece by E.Granados. The grasp of sphere of this piece here is tremendous by this performer. One of my favorites pieces of musical material of all time. - Nice to show those fancy pianists that we guitarists can perform these pieces with all the needed support of our instrument with sometimes even a better possible rendition than with the original instrument.

Fernando, this is a really beautiful interpretation of a most difficult solo piece. I have been struggling with two different versions but I like yours best of all that I have heard. Although it is beautiful throughout, I really, really admire how you handle the Lento Assai which contains two of the most beautiful phrases in all music. Are you the transcriber also?

Thanks for the video. Your interpretation is very artistic. I've been self-studying this piece for several months now. My major problem is that, no matter how many times I listen to it, I cannot work out the timing for the ornamentations! This is an ongoing source of frustration for me!

What I do not understand that I thought it was a duo (e.g. the legendary Bream-Williams performance, but there are more also here on youtube). I think it was originally written for piano and then transcribed for guitar... So there are several transcriptions. The solo is also nice but somehow the duet is more catching for me...
