Sanjay Bakshi’s talk will deal with select prejudices of Mr. Market in pricing of moated businesses. Even though the presentation was boring to death, the talk has phenomenal content. I particularly enjoyed the Q&A session towards the end.

Let us give ear to the content rather than the way it is presented.Very valuable in getting into the prejudices which a sensible (????) person can make use of.

for those of you who don't like the presentation style, which can be off-putting, you can go to the 45 minute mark where q&a starts and he is his natural self. he is a good professor and generous with his knowledge - i've learnt a lot from him -
this presentation doesn't do justice to his good qualities. thank you Professor Bakshi!

I liked the content of the speech, but preferred to read the transcript (just google for "pdf the prejudices of mr market"). There are some good pointers to literature in the talk. For anyone interested in more about Prof. Bakshi's last point / Mr. Market as Learning machine - I would recommend the book Pandora's risk and other work by Kent Osband. But beware, his writing is quite technical...

I honestly think he is a punter. A Mr. Know-It-All Bootlicker of Charlie Munger who just got lucky by investing in the markets and now has to come up with a rationale that explains his success. Look at some of his recent investments in the past few years. All have failed miserably. He wrote a fancy article naming 'The Art of Unconventionality' (does anyone get more wanna-be than this ? lol) on his prized new stock called Kitex Garments. The stock has since moved only in one direction . DOWN. And Mr. Bakshi has removed the article from his website. Punters like him should be discarded as early as possible

Why somebody is chasing you?? If this is the case explain some valuable points in 15minutes. Your vocal chord also too much noisy.

Agree with Ravender ..This was painful to watch. I came with high expectations as I have followed Prof. Bakshi for a while and I am an avid reader of his blog and lecture notes. I have learned a lot from his astute observations on the market or on different value investing principles. Yet, this talk was disappointing - not only from the content perspective but also from the way it was delivered. I do not know the background behind this talk - maybe he did not enough time to prepare or maybe wasn't feeling well that day - but I hope he can improve on this next time. His talk @ IIM Ranchi (also on youtube) was better delivered.
