I agree with everything you said in this video, and yeah, the US is hell right now (always has been actually, nothing ever changes. Racism, Xenophobia, subjugation of human rights, it just changes its face as the years pass and hides behind dog whistles.) I won’t even start on the education system, especially in places like FL were they’re passing laws to make it so people can’t learn about history anymore, but I hella agree with you on the fact that we’re always learning if we’re open to it. I learn new stuff every day just moving through life. And queer representation FTW! There’s a lot of queer coded stuff that happens in BTS stuff. A lot of people miss it cause of heteronormative thinking but it’s there if you’re queer (I am) you’ll pick up on it. They explore gender constructs a lot as well, along with breaking down toxic masculinity. Anyway, thank you for (always) taking the time to really pay attention and break these songs down. I can’t speak for others but my ratings are for genuine review purposes. Musical taste is subjective as it is an artistic expression however it’s also a sport ie. It has award shows, billboard charts, stats etc and as a creator I just love ALL aspects of the craft…never any malice 🫶🏾💜 and thank you so much for enjoying my commentary .
