god, rio's verse hits so hard. i love how many literal "contradictions" there are like "i wouldn't change a thing except for..." and lists like a dozen things he would've liked to change, and the "i can't see my brother, or hug my grandma anymore" just makes me want to cry, you can hear the raw emotion in his voice and he's speaking from the heart. this song is a true masterpiece

When you say "mixed with new era" what do you mean. All I hear is golden era vibes. It's insane how every single joint they produced is on constant replay! Their music puts you under a spell that has you either leaning closer to the speakers, maxing out the volume, running to look for your earbuds or have you drop everything you're doing just to listen! Their work is so intricately created filled with such profound wisdom that it manages to have you stop and reflect on your life. After all is said and done the only thing you could say is literally "what...the...f.." accompanied by complete awe. Blessed.
See and they’re sitting like they’re having a regular conversation, no filters (in all senses of the word), in the same way anyone of us would talk to our homies. No gimmicks, no obligatory luxury brand product placement, no IMDb ass theatrics…just plain ol rappin. That chill type, that Blu, that Fashawn, that Add-2 type of storytellin that I remember spending summers zoning out to on the train or bus, listening and getting lost in the lyrics and beats.
