Haven't started my layout yet (age 60) but keep watching your tutorials Sam and they are so inspirational I cant wait to lay my first piece of grass. Many thanks for you time and dedication. Chris
The last shot of the wagons sums it up nicely "perfection". All the hard work and time you put into your layout has really paid dividends Sam. Thanks to people like yourself, giving up your time producing tutorial videos, has helped me immensely with ideas and techniques to apply to my model railway layout. Great stuff Sam, please keep on going. Barra 😀
Hi Sam yes all good here thanks spend a lot of time away in the caravan during the summer months, so I catch up when I get home. Pleased the car detailing is going well mate. All the best Sam.
So much excellent modelling, and great vantage points, hard to choose a favourite. I'll hold on that, as I'm sure you've got plenty more filming angles to come. All the best. Mike
Hi I am building my first layout and I would like to thank you for giving me a lot of inspiration and knowledge of how you create your layout regarding techniques I really appreciate your work thanks Terry
Enjoyed that running sesh mate, crash corner is a great scene, as is quarry, like more of these running sesh, show off your locos?. All the best. Brian
I think the rest of the comments sum it up Sam, you have created a beautiful layout and watching the trains run through it makes the whole thing worth while. One day I shall be doing the same with Exehaven with a nice cuppa! Cheers for now mate, John
Joy to watch, Sam 😁 A couple of questions if I may ... How have you achieved such steady slow running? Augmented the pickups? Multiple power feeds? Also, how did you get such a realistic transition from the "built" terrain to the printed backscenes? The colouration and fading saturation as your eye moves from foreground to background is almost seamless! (And remind me, what backscene sheets did you use?) Many thanks. Roger.
Excellent Sam nice running session although I don't know how prototypical that train was 🤣🤣🤣 joking mate rule 1 but you do need some north Staffordshire coal wagons atb mate Andy

Ok mate so the steady running is down to stay alive capacitors attached to the dcc decoders
The back scene is from ID backscene I’m colour matched the grass to the print using a variety of grass from Wwscenics
Sam, nice to see steam instead of the modern image stuff. Bonus is, it's the LMS.
Cheers Andrew
