You actually do get the sword mastery perk because you have a sword in the other hand, you can tell because the perk shows up above your health bar when your weapons are out but not when their stowed.

The difference between true and additional is that true is unaffected by pdr, but additional is. However additional has headshot multiplier as usual damage does. Yes, sword mastery works for the mace w/ short sword. Also for the nightmare skellies, only the zweihander has a unique animation.
Spear- Poke into sideswipe attack
Axe- Downwards into sideswipe
The axe is definitely the hardest mob, next to the berserker. personally i almost always cheese the berserker. If ur in a pinch just close them (axe and beserker) into a different room or cheese him, but fighting him is as simple as strafe right, strafe right, strafe right and look down. Also if you’re feeling inclined, fighting the centaur is quite easy, simple as strafe in the direction that he raises his weapon. Crouch for both, but crouch and look down for right strafe. left strafe is not necessary to look down
Also for the dogs, let them bite and side strafe, then hit once or twice, don’t be greedy with it. Stand still if you have to until he turns around to bite, to which side strafe into hitting.
Demon bats are also pretty tricky, but insanely easy if you have a shield. (Let him hit the shield, then counter attack once, rinse and repeat) If you don’t have a shield, it’s very similar to the demon dogs in how you strafe and not be greedy with the hits. Side note: Not sure if this is a bug or not, but if you let the demon bat de-agro, he will usually just fly away and not really re-agro unless you get really close. The loot on them is pretty trash so this is a decent strat)

ALWAYS when you aggro the hell dogs strafe the first attack, when youre standing near the hell dog they only do really short range attacks, but when theyre running at you (kind of like troll) they have a really long jumping attack thats hard to dodge

To fight axe man you either bait like with spear, or go under and right of him and extend it because 2x attack. Also when you went for health shrine I knew about that spike and thought it was OVER lol Nice vid.
As always love your vids! Try a vendor only challenge while we have all vendor affinity unlocked, i found a pretty decent kit all from vendors got lucky tho lol. But you can make a few once your vendors reset. And since its from vendors anyone can do it right now!

The demon berserker is actually not too bad if you circle right. You just duck the swing that starts close to you and jump the other one. You end up behind him which cancels the combo too so it's pretty chill usually as long as you have plenty of space and no other mobs.
You Can also Block every single attack aswell
I really think dark reflection should be reworked to either delay the damage to give time to get away, or just change what it does entirely
Would love to see a high end slayer build using arming sword and handcrossbow. Sword mastery, dual wield, slayer, and weapons expert. Extra damage + action speed for hard hitting but fast reloads on the handcrossbow.

For axemen best strat is stand directly in front of them, either way u dodge to your right, but if it’s the horizontal swing crouch and look down while still moving right.
Moving to the right and looking to the right seems to help make it more consistent too!
pretty sure swinging the mace would not count towards sword mastery. It has to be the sword getting swung to activate the perk. GG's tho. Gotta edit tho because the damage looks like it adds up so i could be wrong lol

I cant believe they kept DR scaling with soul collector stacks after buffing it from 6 stacks to 10. What really killed you in this regard though (bug in my opinion) is that the 10 stacks remain during the channel cost of ray of darkness. So both his ray and DR had the benefit of 10 stacks when you died.

Something that's good about using lightbringer is that it is very effective against pdr players due to the inate 15% armor pen. Most squishies i get that u would probably only use the short sword but you really should have been using the mace more to dish out that high armor pen damage on the pdr boys

Could it have been possible to use sword mastery so u could get an extra 5% attack speed on the mace? Since u were using short sword as a secondary I would’ve though that it would activate and count towards the mace

For that fighter at 20:15.. i think you forgot that the mace you have gives you 15% arm pen and so youd probably 2-3tap that fighter

If I have to get through mobs, yeah! Sometimes you can skip the mobs with sprint if you can make it to the door fast enough
A 40 knowledge wizard called me a hacker for shooting him with a crossbow the same second he tried to invis. I died to zap 2 tap cause I had 3 uncommon things on me and he had all epic or higher, but he was pissed about my crossbow hit, started sluring at me.
Don't worry Lore, I play an FPS and get called out for pulling those type of shots off even if I've spent five bullets blind firing where I'm hearing them.

i hate fighting warlocks so much its not even the fact they are too op (they kinda are) but the fact you have no idea what your getting in too you might get one shoted with boc he might just do half of your hp with reflection he might turn in to a demon warlock just honestly has too much stuff to work with

Hot take but I will forever believe dark reflection needs removed from the game. Warlocks have enough going for them being able to heal infinitely, as well as amazing long and short ranged attacks. Also great video bro, have learned so much from your content. ❤️

You tested the bow and the crossbow so now it is time to tell us. Why use a single shot crossbow that only does 10 more damage when you could just use the bow with all that dex and absolutely spam arrows that do slightly less damage. Even though their flat damage is lower your dps with a bow is much higher! Dex ftw!!!
