That's the point. Koreans and people unaware of her and her abilities will have written her off, so there will be no expectations, whatsoever, on that stage. With this, she has literally eliminated the pressure. A good move.

Very sad that she's not allowed to mention Babymetal. None of the dancers are, or the kami band members, despite performing with them for years. None have ever even been officially named by Babymetal. Even the songwriters have fake names so we can't look them up and support them. Real shame.
I'm so glad Momoko is doing something that she will enjoy, and that will get her amazing personality out there. She deserves credit for her work. It's great to see her as Momoko Okazaki again, and not a nameless Avenger
That's really sad because all of the avengers, back-up dancers, kami band, and songwriters are awesome. In really hope they will say it in the show. Not only recognizing Momoko, but this a big show Babymetal can gain new fans because of this.
@@mnstpkrg_7 That's because Su and Moa have enormous power within Amuse and know it. Look at Yui, She's done nothing for 4 years yet she's still on Amuse's payroll. The previous CEO to Nakanishi said at an AGM (c2017), "we have not worked with artists like them before" - that was when they were teens. You can imagine the gravitas they had in Amuse, even back then.
Koba knows it too. Plus, they have a very close relationship with him. They call him Oto-san (father), the Perfume girls themselves said that. :)) Trust me, he is ONLY for them. He is also a metal-head, which means he does not give a shit about HP wotas. He also does not give a shit about K-POP. Why should he when Amuse have their own K-Pop group called CROSS-GENE which belongs to Amuse Korea. :))) Amuse is bigger than the big three in Korea, combined. They're an arrogant company. Six record labels were interested in signing up budding ASH group, Kakumei Shoujo. Not so with Amuse. They broke the group up just to get a hold of Miko Todaka. Go here for the full story:

Also, no, Amuse didn't break Kakumei Shoujo. It's formed to compete in Idol Festival, they finished it and disbanded, it's not like other are inferior to Miko or anything, one is STU's Kenkyuusei another one will debut with Hello! Project this year; both group is bigger than Sakura Gakuin.

@@jeans4484 Yes, they are, because it's only for a section of it. One OK Rock's company is a separate entity, as is Apollo Bay. As is that company that produces sets for concerts. They're not listed within Amuse. The rest of it is all creative accounting for tax purposes. You'll never know just how big they are, if they're doing creative accounting which they are definitely doing.

She was my Avenger, too! Absolutely burned up the stage! I was so grabbed by her stage presence, I started the Momoko Army Facebook page, because there was not yet a fan group for her. Mo! Mo! Ko! your army of fans is cheering for you!
@@davidmakinster8521 Since I haven't seen BM, live she's not my Avenger, that's Kano with her god-like sync with Moa, but she (Momoko) is my next favoured. She's nothing short of fantastic - she can literally burn up the stage when she wants to. This is her just acting goody! :))
Hope Momoko can debut! She's probably one of the few girls who successfully released an album, was a member of a girl group, danced alongside babymetal and has great skills.
But knowing Mnet, like they did to their other survival shows, they're gonna fuck up the votes 🙄

Just from the comments alone, you can see the various audience Momoko can bring to the show and the group. She's already a worldwide idol who has performed for international concerts with millions of audience, so she's already quite ahead compared to her co-trainees. @@lilyofthevalley8224 Momoko was Momoko Metal during the Metal Galaxy world tour - one of three support dancers in rotation. By the last year, the rotation was gone and it was Momoko every time, including the 10 Budakon concerts. She was so perfect, many fans were hoping she would stay permanently.
@@lilyofthevalley8224 Not quite, Babymetal is Su and Moa. Momoko was an "Avenger", there to fill in the missing choreo required when Yui left. So, yes, she she used to be on the stage with them when she was one of three rotating Avengers. The three Avengers, Kano Fujihra, Momoko Okazaki and Riho Sayashi were unnamed and not ever introduced officially by Babymetal.

Because the word "graduate" itself is just a special term with certain concept (a.k.a. leaving the group in a high note/a person when in a group is learning things, think of it like being in a school, but when the person leaves from the group ('graduates') means the person has become a full-fledged one).
@@NenaArindrasari It certainly is. But SG uses the "school concept" to the max - it is Amuse's training program, after all. The USP is the girls' development, not money. When the senior most members leave the group, they "graduate" in a batch - Su was the only exception because she was the only student in her year. That's why I put it like that. It's not wrong to say "former" member, but "graduate" is the more accurate terminology. Do not confuse it with Morning Musume or AKB's graduations. All members have to graduate SG when they get to the first year of high school in Japan. Only in one case was this done early and they never took another member from Hiroshima for six years until Miko came along.

I love how Sakura Academy was mentioned in her interview speech really cute because that’s where she got her start which shows how much that group means to her. But I’m kind of sad. They can’t mention her word from BABYMETAL. It could’ve been a cute way to say something like a nod or code to BABYMETAL that you wouldn’t get unless you were baby metal fan. Some examples I thought of “I’ve served as an avenger for the fox god or Someone sacred ask me to perform with goddesses as support.
