My results were pretty good, but without any insulation up top, you will struggle to cook the crust slow enough. By the time my toppings were cooked, the crust was just a bit too black on the bottom. Part of the problem is that it's a fast cook, and every time you want to check it, you lose ALL the heat up top. The stone itself is fantastic, put it in your home oven and make pizza!
@Rich4098 what I do is pick up the pizza with peel, close the lid and angle the pizza towards to top without touching it and the toppings cook quickly to perfection 👌🏼
@@beardswagbbq Hey, can you think of an insulator that can handle high heat, but will stop the bottom from cooking? Throw it under the pizza and close the lid for a few minutes?
It works great but does cause issues over time. I would recommend keeping lid open while cooking if you do get one. If your into pizzas save up and get the RT-B380 with the Pizza Stone and Kit. Thank you for coming by and I appreciate the comment 😊
Any update on this? How is it? How do pizzas turn out? Debating whether to get this for my new black edition bullseye or a dedicated oven like an ooni.
I just follow the instructions on the box. I usually turn it up about 25 degrees higher than what is suggested and keep checking crust to make it how I want it.

@@deangoodin6304 yes the PID controller will compensate for it being open. Just will have to adjust your cooks to match it being open.
