So, an explanation as to why you haven't heard any singing during the ED in your reactions, is complicated. When Monster was dubbed into other languages, for whatever reason, someone made the decision to completely re-do the soundtrack. And I don't mean they composed a new score from the ground up, I mean they just shuffled around the already existing score. All non Japanese-dubs got the international soundtrack. What's even stranger is that the original unaltered score is exclusive to Asian countries. All "Official" or "Legal" copies of Monster, like Netflix, in non-Asian countries use the re-done score for all languages, including Japanese. In addition to shuffling around the existing score, the re-done OST also censored all licensed music. It seems the ED, For the Love of Life was also in some weird copyright limbo, as they had to censor the lyrics. So what you're hearing at the end of your episodes is the ED, just a lyric-less version of it. What's funny is that Monster is supposed to have a 2nd ED, called Make it Home, which is a song that is missing entirely from the re-done OST. And, its not the only track like this. You look up the full Monster OST on TH-cam, and there are numerous tracks only heard in the original score. The original score had For The Love of Life as the ED from eps 1-32, and Make it Home as the ED from eps 33-74. Meanwhile, the re-done score uses the lyric-less version of For the Love of Life, for the whole show. 2nd ED: th-cam.com/video/z3CSWGXnF30/w-d-xo.html Yeah, the music is really the only thing that keeps me away from dub of Monster. If we were talking about voice acting alone, then the dub is fantastic. I really whish there was a copy somewhere of the dub with the original score, but there isn't. I have a small 8 minute video comparing the music differences. I picked scenes from three different episodes, episodes you've already seen, so no spoilers. th-cam.com/video/sx1wGG3InEQ/w-d-xo.html
@@BlissfulKingdomReacts The 3rd season is absolute fire. The second season is a personal favorite. The 1st season is kinda...bland it was the writer and his first attempts at creating something. It's ok, but no where NEAR as good as the later seasons. I'd recommend you check out the "Complete openings' videos that are out there. The only thing you need to know is each season is a new Jojo. It starts in the late 1800s and works it's way up to modern day each season. A new season equals a new Jojo.

The opening doesn’t make sense until you finish the entire show.
100% agree 😂
