I love Kelly's voice, got to see her at Waterloo Records in Austin last night for the 25th anniversary re-release of her first album. What a great lady!
Late 2000's? More like the mid-80s. (She was 16 when she joined Mas Palermo's band in VA. That would have been 1984. By the late 90s she was married to Bruce Robison and a big player in the Austin music scene.
Wish they would list the band. I think that’s Richmond’s own Michael McAdam on guitar. I can watch and listen to Kelly sing the phone book( if they still had phone books)
seen her many times, and got to know over the years, lovely and very sweet, first saw her on ACL

The names she can drop. Magnificent. My favorite female country star of all time.
Get Real is such a great song
Should have been a huge hit if radio programmers had any balls.
Kelly has been top shelf since she came upon the scene in the late 2000's as a teenager in Northern VA.

The guitarist playing the Telecaster was Bill Dwyer. It's listed in the credits rolled at the end.
