[4K] Dinosaur Tour Co, join us on this wet day as we ride a 4x4 Jurassic jeep through the Lost Kingdom at Paultons Park and come face to face with some of the largest and most fearsome dinosaurs
Dinosaur Tour Co was manufactured by Metallbau Emmeln and is a Safari Jeep Track Ride. It opened on the 17th March 2016 in a brand new area of Paultons Park called Lost Kingdom.
Guest are taken on an expedition in the safari styled jeeps and get to see dinosaurs, plane wrecks, waterfalls and a cave area with dino nests.
There is onboard audio describing the points of interest as you drive round, however we have on occasion not had the audio play. In this video the audio is only triggered at the cave entrance but you still get to hear the background music and dinosaur sounds which is still really atmospheric. We have experienced the audio also being out of sync with what was happening. This appears to be isolated to the jeep rather than across the whole ride as the jeep in front and behind us at the time had the correct sound
There is also the opportunity in the queue path to have your photo taken and put into a Park Ranger license you can keep as souvenir as well as an onride photo located just before entering the cave area. You can view and purchase your photos on exiting the ride in the shop which is known as Outpost 12. The Flight of the Pterosaur coaster also exits into this building.
Dinosaur Tour Co. has changed quite a bit since it's opening in 2016, not the ride itself, but the foliage, which was quite bare to begin with but the trees and bushes have now established themselves and it now truly looks like a Lost Kingdom.
