These leaves are fabulous that our church craft group are now going to use for this year's 'Poppy Display' many thanks!

So well explained and demonstrated. Now I can't wait to finish my scarf, so I can add leaves in several complimentary colors. 💕

I made a bunch of these and arranged them in a pot so that they look like succulent leaves! They also work great as coasters!

Love your videos! This project was great for me as a brand new knitter last month. These leaves were timely for Thanksgiving, but demanded to come out to play for Christmas. I sewed two edges together to make a gnome hat, added some Poly-fill for stuffing and beard and sewed some beads on for noses and decor. The imperfections of my first knitting attempts just added to the uniqueness of each sassy little gnome.

What a great tutorial! I noticed your technique for YO was a little different than what I normally use, but after trying your technique versus my normal one I decided that I prefer yours for this leaf project. It leaves a smaller hole. I tried a couple rows the other way and the hole was very big and looked a bit odd. I also decided to add a stem by knitting an icord before beginning with the 3 purls.

+Studio Knit Thank you :) you are so kind, yes I have some videos but it isn't a high knitting level I just learn and try and show what I have done (I watch your tutorials to make things ;P) ... I was thinking about those leaves and maybe
make them in a pattern square as coasters ??? To keep leaf one colour and the square in different - I would love some white square with green leaf .... ooo that sounds lovely ... and people would be able to make blankets then too ... the best colours of leaves I think is mix yarn, uni colours don't give that depth - cheers

I have made the leaves. They do curl up. I ironed them, then I starched and ironed them. Then I did it again. They still curl. Can this pattern be done with the knitting stitch throughout? The curling is ruining the artistic look for my design.

Hi! Love your vids! I was wondering if you had a knitted feather pattern? I have been looking for a long time, but all I find are crochet patterns. I'm not the best crocheter..or knitter, but I'm more comfortable with it. I assume it would be a modification of this pattern? Just make it longer and thinner I suppose. If you do have one, I hope to maybe see it soon!
