Also just history lesson on Dave. He’s 22 from Streatham in London, his brothers in prison serving an 18 year sentence for a murder that he apparently didn’t do, he’s matured massively for a guy his age & a majority of his tracks tell stories, both real & some loosely based off of the current UK events. He is extremely versatile & even directs & produces a majority of his music videos. His Debut album PsychoDrama reached number 1 in the charts & earned him multiple awards including Album of the year at the Brit awards. He’s arguably one of the most respected artists in the UK, by other artists & also the general public for some of the controversial topics he speaks out on. He can also play the piano which features heavily in a lot of his music. Quick side note, always check out the guys in the background of his videos, from his old freestyles to his new tracks, he loves to bring his boys along with him which I rate massively, lot of artists seem to lose contact with childhood friends when they blow, just another reason why I think he’s such a humble & genuinely nice guy. Going to be one of the greatest if his isn’t already
his album „PSYCHODRAMA“ is really worth listening to, is built up like a therapy and really valuable. can only recommend
wasn't there some old rocker that said to take your school mates on the ride with you because there isnt someone you'll have more fun with or will listen to more when they call you on your shit than someone that's known you since you were 12

This is what got Dave noticed... this is a real story for sure. He's grown up quickly and matured quicker than most guys his age due to what he's lived and the family problems he's had etc.
For me daves already cemented himself as one of the greatest British lyricists, this is him at 16 and at 22 now some of his bars are mad, I can go back to songs I’ve listened to for 2/3 years and still pick up on new things
On God some bars took me 3years to catch
As he got older you can see Dave learned to channel that anger but in this it was just pure unfiltered at 16
Honestly check any track by Dave, don’t think he’s dropped a bad track yet, don’t want to sound like a hype man, but genuinely think Dave is one of the all time GOATS, not just in the UK

My fave Dave track is ' two birds no Stone' but his whole psychodrama album is a masterpiece.. one if those you listen to end to end

i think reacting to question time and disaster would be a waste of time. a good majority of question time would fly over his head (as it did mine) cause were from the US and not familiar with UK politics and events. And disaster is a good song but nothing super special like the other tracks. Still good songs none the less but not worth a reaction.

Daves brother Christopher got life in prison (minimum 18 years) for the murder of a kid who got stabbed 9 times during morning rush hour. The police found the knife in Christopher's bag, however they claim it was planted by another boy. Wale who dave talks about here, testified against them so he didn't get any prison time himself.

Myself and another guy programmed the music distribution platform Dave used when he was coming up. Unfortunately I left the company before I heard about him but for all that companies "claim to fame" in artists, Dave is the one in my opinion. Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith etc used their old system before they were famous but that was before we recreated it.
