Sacriel did something like this, Delta vs. Militants. Full armor and all weapons vs lv 1 armor, AKs, pistols. Delta had to clear mil base. Was pretty fun idea that was hard to execute before we had the the current custom match system.

I can only imagine the amazing things you will come up with (kind of reminds me of how much me and my friends loved Rocket Race in Halo 3 and that it's something we would have never thought of but having it in the game made H3 have us different modes when we were taking a break from grinding rank).
