So much fun yesterday! Thanks for having me on the show Maude and Kristian! Missed ya John! Now I need to get all of you to guest again on Far Far Away too ;) Smith Lord out. Xx
Tiffany Smith Hi Tiffany aka Ms. Smith Lord! I loved your guest appearance on this show. You are both intelligent and beautiful, not to mention funny. I've been a fan of your work for a very long time. You're putting out great content so keep up the great work! =)
Cj Stevenson Makes you wish it could be the three of them every week but Tiff and John Rocha on far far away are doing great so I wouldn't want that to stop.
Great to see Maude back, it's ashame she is over on that kids show SourceFed.....Please AMC find more for Maude to do here as I think she is a great fit on this channel.
The scores in Star Wars are the most important parts of the film. They evoke emotions like no other movie can, and I think the reason why the teaser trailer really tugged on people's heart strings was driven tenfold by the score. Binary Sunset (Force Theme) is one of the greatest piece of cinema score in history.
Ezra's light-saber. Maude, please understand.... Yes blasters are an uncivilized weapon, but Ezra was born and raised in an uncivilized age. The gun-saber fits his character. He's half Jedi, half outlaw. Gun for the thieving outlaw, saber for the Jedi.
Maude is an uncivilized snob. ...she seems to forget that Kenobi killed general grievous with a blaster. ...and if i remeber correctly(i do remember) luke in episode 5 goes to cloud city to face vader with his freakin blaster on his belt... so yeah. ..
Daniel Hernandez Yeah but Kenobi words straight after killing Grievous are, "So uncivilized.." What would you rather he do? Just go, "Oh crap. Don't have my lightsaber, hmmm, there's a blaster over there....but I shouldn't use it because it's uncivilized...I'll DIE before I use one of them! ha ha haaa" ded.
True that Matt haha. I don't know why u brought that up Daniel when he clearly said in the movie "so uncivilized." Which fits Obi Wan's character completely!
If you guys are wondering about Han Solo's past, go and read The Han Solo trilogy which is superbly written by A.C. Crispin which is not Canon anymore, but it's still incredible. The story intertwines Boba Fett, how Jabba got to power, how Han and Lando met (which is so awesome), why Chewie owes him a life debt, a great new character called Bria Tharen which is Han's old girlfriend, and how he ultimately winds up with Luke and a rebel fighting against the empire. Highly recommended.
I don't understand why they don't like the idea of midichlorians. What's not to like? It finally explained why some people are stronger with the force than others instead of us having to be like "whelp I don't know why some people can use the force and others can't. WHO cares."
Daniel Castillo It's because they ruin the mystical element of the Force. Originally, one could believe that anyone could learn the ways of the Force if they chose to commit to it.
Tony Campuzzano Fuck, I know! I was replying to CinematicGalaxy when he said that anyone could learn the force and get as strong as any other if they commited.
CinematicGalaxy that's still the case though just cause someone has midichlorians doesn't mean they're automatically a Jedi like Anakin pre Phantom Menace had the highest midichlorian count yet he couldn't do what Qui-Gon could do he needed traiging
It's a terrible idea because it undermines the idea of anybody being a Jedi if they are dedicated enough to be great. Hard work? Pffft! We need Anakin to be unlikeable but also the most powerfulest Jedi EVER! MEDICHLORIANS!!!!
Don't get me wrong i like Jedi Council but where's Amc Movie Talk I wanna hear what they have to say about Chris pratts future with guardians of the galaxy and marvel.
Boba was still a badass in the novels, and comics, even after we found out about his wife, daughter and granddaughter (the latter two whom were also badass Mandalorian mercenaries/soldiers).
Forced Unleashed was very fun to play, I think. The Force Unleashed II as well. Using The Force to fight your way through is just awesome. The different options you have using the force is great. Force push, Force lift, Lighting, Mind tricks...I'd like to bring this game series back around.
They should make a Boba Fett film similar to the Mad Max films where he isn't really the main character. The film should be a story about him from the perspective of his employer, similar to how Fury Road was almost from Furiosa's perspective.
My Tweet! I assumed Kristian would abstain from answering due to the limitations (a roadblock which the wonderful Tiffany blew right through e_e;) But it's all good - Maude brought up the eternal Tie Fighter to further her quest to becoming queen emperor of all things awesome. You guys rock!
John Williams along with Lucas is the architect of the Star Wars universe. It'll be sad to see him depart from the universe eventually. I hope after this new trilogy however they make an Old Republic trilogy, and then return to the SW universe.
I love love love Tiffany Smith she loves Star Wars and DC comics like me and I miss her Kevin Olivia and Chris from G4tv 😢 this was a great Jedi Council episode!!
Great episode guy and gals. I loved seeing Tiffany on the show and having Maude's energy back in the mix. It would be kind of cool is Daisy's character actually fights with that staff thing as it would be something different.
I love Tiffany, she is such a doll. I love the fact that we are in a age where even the head cheerleader/homecoming queen can embrace their inner nerd... Age of the geek baby, age of the geek.
Please make an Obi Wan movie.. About the lost years between Episodes III and IV. So many unanswered questions! Ewan Mcgregor was one of the few redeeming things about Episodes II and III, and i'd love to have him back for Star Wars Anthology.
WinterGirlRules True. I think I remember that. That's all you needed to be cool (e.g., Samuel Jackson, and, of course, Billy D!) Still.....Boba does NOTHING.
I think it would make sense that the lightsbaer somehow makes it's way to Finn. Oscar Issac said that Poe was sent on a mission by a particular Princess (who just so happened to be handed a lightsaber in the teaser) and from there on their fates become forever intertwined. I'm thinking Finn is the new Luke of the trilogy. He's going to be on the receiving end of the traditional lightsaber pass down haha.
I totally agree with Darth Harloff, that staff seems most likely to be Darth Plagueis'. Damn I think Andy Serkis is going to be Darth Plagueis in the end! I may be wrong but that's my guess! Love the show! P.s. That staff could be a Lightstaff, you never know!
Here's a thought... if you're right about something being in that staff Rey is carrying, maybe it's Luke's lightsaber. Then at some point Rey takes the staff to the alien we see in the trailer. That alien opens the staff to reveal the saber and as in the trailer, then hands that back to Rey.
wow Maude bringing back x-wing vs. tie fighter. Old school. Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 gets my vote. I spent way too many hours playing it on the zone.
Totally agree we don't need to see Boba Fett's face in the same way we don't see Judge Dredd's face. And no cheesy back-story necessary. Just hoping his anthology film tells a great detective / thriller story and includes Aurra Sing, Cad Bane and one of my favourite locations, Nar Shaddaa in it too. Quite the wish-list though!
IMPORTANT QUESTION!! If they do make a Boba Fett movie, will he have a clone voice, like in the special editions of the original trilogy? I kind of don't want him to, but it wouldn't make any sense if he has a unique voice in his own movie
Tiffany nailed it ;) Tron Legacy had a computer generated younger version of Jeff Bridges back in 2010. Even the last Terminator movie had a computer generated Arnold Schwarzenegger and that was back in 2009. Star Wars has always been the leader in ground breaking special effects. Many fans have already said that they would not like to see another actor take these roles. So why should they have to? The tech is here now. Use computer generated younger versions of these actors. It is the next great leap in special effects in my opinion :)
I like your idea of Cad Bane being in a Boba Fett movie. On that note, do you think that a Clone Wars character will eventually make their live-action debut in an Anthology movie? It seems inevitable to me. Which character would you most like to see? Cad Bane already mentioned, but so many: Asoka, Ventris?
I once read that Kurosawa and his writing team would designate one of them to be the devil's advocate and find any fault with the screenplay they wrote. Needless to say, it was a playbook that greatly benefited Kurosawa. In the original SW movies, I believe it was Lucas' producer, Gary Kurtz and Lucas' then wife, Marcia (editor of SW) that tangled with Lucas in terms of the stories. In the per-equals, unfortunately, I don't think Lucas had that devil's advocate, as Rick McCullum, the executive producer, has been known by SW fans as being the ultimate "yes man".
I just cant for ep 7 to come out so we can start to get all the 3 hour documentaries of the behind the scenes. Its always been interesting to me to see all the work done to make my favorite movies. Like the JJ Abrams Star Trek (2009) Behind The Scenes.
I would love to see a Boba Fett movie where we see him stranded on some planet with the character of Boba being almost like the Man with No Name from The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. Make it a sci-fi western and make it so Boba doesn't talk much and I'd be first in line to see it. I think that could be pretty cool. A slow paced western set in the Star Wars universe with little dialogue would be fascinating to me. Unfortunately I don't think LucasFilm would ever do that, though.
Brad Bird probably won't do the anthology film. He did say he's putting all his effort towards Incredibles 2. I think he'll maybe direct a film in the future in that universe, but not anytime soon. I think Rey might eventually use a double bladed saber. That'd be cool. I think that staff does however have some sort of force capabilities. Maybe it's a key to an ancient tomb?
Arbhall McDougall Exactly. There are plenty of other amazing directors who can take the helm at SW. I just want to see Brad Bird create an amazing Incredibles film.
heavy storm I watched the Droids cartoon in the 80s, and we can do without a show about them again. But more Star Wars is more Star Wars, and I would watch it.
Glad to see Maude back in the council and on a amc show, love what she's doing at Source Fed, & Source Fed Nerd but for a week and a half it looked like she moved on with no goodbye.
Love the show as always guys, the passion is REAL:) You've all convinced me to pick up Leia Issue 1 from my local Forbidden Planet today. Just sounds to Great to miss out on. 1 love Jedi Council. :)(:
Here's my pitch for a Boba Fett stand-alone movie "It's seven years after the end of the Clone Wars. Seven years after Order 66. Seven years after Palatine declare himself the emperor over the Galactic Empire. Since the death of his "father" Jango, Boba Fett has trained with the Mandalorian terrorist group Deathwatch and with the deadliest mercenaries and bounty hunters to become the most dangerous man in the galaxy. Sharing the most recognized face in galaxy, with his clone brothers, Boba Fett is the man without a face. He is a man on a mission to take back his face; a mission to kill all clones. Boba Fett with his hand-picked team of scum and villainy, infiltrate the Galactic Empire in order to destroy the clone DNA archives on Kamino only to confront an unexpected clone." This would make Boba Fett about 20 years old. And would explain why there are no longer clone troopers but stormtroopers.
Like Boba wasn't exposed in the prequels too. He's a Jango Fett clone who didn't get quick grown to adulthood. So we know what he looks like, what his voice is.. the only difference between him and Jango are that he will have grown up differently so will have different skills and experiences. Not all that mysterious to me. And I hope they don't have him come back in the main episodes as an old fart who got burped out of the sarlaac because his armor gave it indigestion. I'd love to see him in an anthology film, though.
X-Wing Vs. Tie Fighter? Maude, you always surprising us, that's why we miss when you're not on the show. Just a heads up, in gog.com there is the game, but playable in new computers, it's still really good. Another game, that i would like to see, is more of a new kind of experience. Don't know if anyone played Republic Commando, but i loved that game. Maybe something similar in the time of Episode VII would be great.
I miss John, I like how he always has a polar opposite opinion compared to Maude and Kristian, it keeps it interesting. Also I sometimes play a game where Kristian asks John what he thinks and I bet in my head if John will be opposed lol.
This is like the ultimate Star Wars news crew! The best trio of hosts, all they are missing is Ken Knapsack (from Jedi Alliance) and John Rocha (from Far Far Away), lol. Why dont they bundle all these guys into one show, full time? You know it makes sense... And call it SITH PUSSAY Geek Bomb with Maude's impression of a Tusken Raider's mating call as the intro sequence.
It's on Netflix so u should defiantly watch it. It's a ok show during seasons 1-2 but when u r at seasons 3-6 the show is fantastic! I believe it came out in 2007 or 2008 not sure tho.
Okay i want to say something about the prequel trilogy they how i got introduced to star wars and i love them more than th original trilogy. i just don't see why the people who watch the original ones first hate on the prequels i just re-watched them and to me their funny, well written, and made me understand the originals better. i don't know maybe i just have weird taste and i am totaly crazy
First off Maude's baaaack yaaaaaay!!!!! Secondly I prey to god they give #bobafett a great standalone the legendary bounty hunter could be a great antihero if with the right treatment. The Cad Bane story could work well as a flashback or he somehow go to him for assistance after the scarlacc pit. getting him back in "the game" in a transporter like setting THE FIRST ONE!!! Darth +ChristianHarloff Great mix up With the lovely +TiffanySmith May The Force Be With You All.
One thing that i just considered is that most spin-off speculation has been around events or characters of the original trilogy or the original trilogy era. I think it's a possibility that maybe sometime in the future we could have pre-episode 1 spin offs, not necessarily Old Republic era but maybe sometime in between. Or more likely maybe theyll base some spin-off in the new trilogy's era. I think theres alot of unique story telling potential with these anthology films regardless though
If episode 7-9 indeed do bring in Darth Plaguis (which dear god I want so bad and looks like he might be) then it would be a smart move to go back to pre episode 1 and explain his plan he was executing the whole time. From episode 1 to the Opera scene in episode 3 to the original trilogy I the events up to 7-9 and how he was responsible for all of this and the ultimate evil this whole time would be very interesting!
Qwertify I agree! I loved the Darth Plagueis novel! It would be interesting to get a movie about him and his dealings whether or not he does end up in the new films. I'd also like to see a Darth Bane film, especially since his character is indeed canon thanks to the Clone Wars!
I loved the novel as well! They could possibly just come out and say that it is now official canon but either way we will need an explanation/story from him if he's the main villain in episodes 7-9.
Qwertify I think that would be awesome if the novel was made canon. I don't think there's really anything in it that contradicts any of the new canon anyway! I guess we'll just have to see how it all plays out. Either way I'm too excited for new Star Wars!
So when they renamed Korriban to Moraband for one episode of TCW I thought that the change was stupid but then I was like...Maybe they´ve got plans for that planet... Do you think that we´ll see Moraband at some point in the new trilogy ? There is a lot of Sith tombs and who can say that Kylo Ren´s master is still alive if you know what I am sayin...
I refuse to set up a twitter but here is a question. Do you guys think that they will make another trilogy after 2020 or just make anthology movies from that point forward? #AMCjedicouncil
No point in asking a question on here, they have said they aren't answering them on youtube. It's cool if you don't want to make a twitter, but don't waste your time asking a question of youtube they won't answer.
I saw a question from the comments get answered on Heroes, and I know thats an entirely separate show but it still gave me hope. My life is just to boring for me to want to set up a twitter and expect people to follow me.
Yeah big fan of Alliance and Far Far Away! Love Tiff
Not that this is surprising but it's worth noting, Tiffany Smith really is one of the smartest people in the business.
Cj Stevenson Makes you wish it could be the three of them every week but Tiff and John Rocha on far far away are doing great so I wouldn't want that to stop.
***** And she is hot!
Replacement for Aimirose?
Cj Stevenson Yea, I was pretty surprised how much I enjoyed her on this show.
***** Oh god no, please tell me she's not Amirose replacement!
Very pleasant surprise having Tiffany Smith on the show. I love her on Far Far Away and she fits in perfectly here as well.
Great to see Maude back, it's ashame she is over on that kids show SourceFed.....Please AMC find more for Maude to do here as I think she is a great fit on this channel.
Bender Rodriguez Opinions?????......It's still a kids show. Maybe when it was 20mins or less but not anymore.
Bender Rodriguez Kk....My bad.
Bender Rodriguez You don't like Maude????....She is piss funny.
Bender Rodriguez Each to their own...Stay Kool.
+Potaka79 You're so right.
THANK YOU! For showing some love to the Prequel Stories. Yes there are some execution problems but the story is brilliant.
Everyday is a great day when Tiffany Smith is around!
just want to extend my thanks to the Jedi Council team at AMC, just picked up my copy of Lords of the Sith and i am absolutely loving it
happy to Maude is back and seeing tiffany is here awesome she rocks both of them
Ezra's light-saber. Maude, please understand....
Yes blasters are an uncivilized weapon, but Ezra was born and raised in an uncivilized age.
The gun-saber fits his character. He's half Jedi, half outlaw. Gun for the thieving outlaw, saber for the Jedi.
True but it still ruins the symbolism of the lightsaber in my opinion
Maude is an uncivilized snob. ...she seems to forget that Kenobi killed general grievous with a blaster. ...and if i remeber correctly(i do remember) luke in episode 5 goes to cloud city to face vader with his freakin blaster on his belt... so yeah. ..
Jacob McQuaid still used it.... explain Luke with his blaster on cloud city. ...
Long live Starkiller! Long live the first Force Unleashed!!
Logan Long Live Bastilla. Long Live Revan! LONG LIVE KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC!!
Shut up, Darth Vader needs no apprentice and we need Kyle Katarn!!
Except that is not Han Solos past... #legends not #canon
***** Yes i did mention that the book wasn't cannon but it"s still well worth the read either way.
where is movie talk today?
Maude and Tiffany?! Wow!! 😻😻😻
The force IS with us!
I don't understand why they don't like the idea of midichlorians. What's not to like? It finally explained why some people are stronger with the force than others instead of us having to be like "whelp I don't know why some people can use the force and others can't. WHO cares."

CinematicGalaxy But Luke says, "The force is strong in my family".
Tony Campuzzano Fuck, I know! I was replying to CinematicGalaxy when he said that anyone could learn the force and get as strong as any other if they commited.
CinematicGalaxy that's still the case though
just cause someone has midichlorians doesn't mean they're automatically a Jedi

No Movie Talk today?
I don't even watch this show and I came here to check. Help me out Star Wars peeps
***** so annoyed
***** This show is better : )
Legion1937 I love Star Wars but I like to keep up with all the news.
I can't believe I only just found this show! GREAT show!!
Where da fuck's Obi-John Kenobi???! haha Great show anyway
***** campea is a pain on this show, he moans about everything, tiffany is much better
***** he jumped into the sarlacc pit to get Boba's armor
Nicholas Hope If only she was permanent :(
Forrest Smith campea will be back next week to moan
Nicholas Hope Nope he has quit AMC.
Awesome! So glad to see Maude. Welcome Tiffany. Kristian, the best damn Star Wars host in the universe.
So good to finally see tiffany on here!! Wecome!
Dash Rendar was part of Shadows of the Empire, which was a multimedia campaign. There was a book, comics, soundtrack and some games.
Great episode! Glad to have the Queen back, TiffanySITH is great, and Darth Harloff should keep this panel
Dash Rendar is part of the Shadows of the Empire game/novel that came out in 1996.
Tiffany is so much more positive than campea , keep her on
They should make a Boba Fett film similar to the Mad Max films where he isn't really the main character. The film should be a story about him from the perspective of his employer, similar to how Fury Road was almost from Furiosa's perspective.
You gotta have Tiffany back for more episodes. She's as smart as she is witty : )

So much better without Campea. 10 outta 10
TheGeeksWon no way
Dash Rendar is the main character in the Shadow of the Empire game, may also feature in the book by the same name.
Really good point, I read New Dawn after I saw Rebels and really enjoyed it. My connection to the Kanan & Hera was already established.
Great episode guy and gals. I loved seeing Tiffany on the show and having Maude's energy back in the mix. It would be kind of cool is Daisy's character actually fights with that staff thing as it would be something different.
Where the hell is Movie Talk
I love Tiffany, she is such a doll. I love the fact that we are in a age where even the head cheerleader/homecoming queen can embrace their inner nerd... Age of the geek baby, age of the geek.

Dash Rendar was a great character. Even his name screams Star Wars. He was featured in the novel along with all the other SOTE stuff
Dash Rendar yes, over Kyle Katarn? hECK NO! We need Kyle Katarn people!
More of Tiffany on AMC shows!
Boba Fett: Bad-ass Bounty Hunter! I'd go see it. Like Dredd, never remove the helmet.
Michael Sicard Lets be honest. We would go see a Boba Fett movie even if it was called "Boba Fett: Bad-ass Custodian".
How was Boba Fett so badass? Not including expanded universe. He looks cool, but did he really DO anything awesome in the Orig Trig?
Avi P He had an awesome voice before the DVD release.
WinterGirlRules True. I think I remember that. That's all you needed to be cool (e.g., Samuel Jackson, and, of course, Billy D!) Still.....Boba does NOTHING.
Dredd didn't make any money
schmoesknow Dash Rendar was in both the game and novel Shadows of the Empire.
Yes Tiffany Smith! She needs to be a permanent and a regular
I would like to see a Obi-Wan Kenobi vs Darth Maul anthology film. Bring back Ewan McGregor and Ray Park.
Hell yea!
I think it would make sense that the lightsbaer somehow makes it's way to Finn. Oscar Issac said that Poe was sent on a mission by a particular Princess (who just so happened to be handed a lightsaber in the teaser) and from there on their fates become forever intertwined. good to see Maude's doing alright since the last time we saw her freaking out

There is an opening for the second Anthology but did Bird say that he is working on Incredibles 2? Maybe the 3rd Anthology or episode 9.
Omg Maude!! I knew I saw her somewhere else besides Sourcefed. :D love her!
Dash was in the shadows of the empire multimedia project. main character of the video game, side character in book and comics.
how come the show didn't come on today?
Tiffany nailed it ;) Tron Legacy had a computer generated younger version of Jeff Bridges back in 2010. Arbhall McDougall Exactly. There are plenty of other amazing directors who can take the helm at SW. I just want to see Brad Bird create an amazing Incredibles film.

LONG LIVE JOHN JOHN BINKS!!!
Love the show as always guys, the passion is REAL:)
You've all convinced me to pick up Leia Issue 1 from my local Forbidden Planet today.
Just sounds to Great to miss out on.
1 love Jedi Council.
:)(:
Where can i read the books and all of the comics online without paying?
I agree with Tiffany about how frequently they should release movies. Also her ideas on the jumping back and forth being a little jarring
Instead of Your Highness, I think Queen Maude wants to be referred as "Your Worship"! :)
I've always preferred Grand Maude Tarkin
Jonathan Leiman Loff Tarkin?
Kristian, Dash Rendar was in Shadows of the Empire! One of the best N64 games ever made.
Was there AMC Movie Talk today?
Finally two real star wars fans in the show!
Here's my pitch for a Boba Fett stand-alone movie
"It's seven years after the end of the Clone Wars.
Boba Fett with his hand-picked team of scum and villainy, infiltrate the Galactic Empire in order to destroy the clone DNA archives on Kamino only to confront an unexpected clone."
This would make Boba Fett about 20 years old. And would explain why there are no longer clone troopers but stormtroopers.
I hardly ever watch Jedi Council, not a bad show, just not that much of a Star Wars fan...but Tiffany Smith is on the show. Sooo...I'll stay tuned.
Not only choreographers from Game of Thrones but also Brienne of Fucking Tarth.
I think they will show us force awakens trailer at comic con. And rogue one casting will be in sooner than later.
Open the blast doors close the blast doors!!! YES Tiffany! Far Far Away high five :-)
OMG! DID THEY JUST COMPLIMENT THE PREQUELS?!?! FINALLY!!
I miss John, I like how he always has a polar opposite opinion compared to Maude and Kristian, it keeps it interesting. Also I sometimes play a game where Kristian asks John what he thinks and I bet in my head if John will be opposed lol.
The game I want is Boba Fett:Bounty Hunter! They did a game with Jango that was really fun.
That image of Finn is art, not a photo.
What year is this clone wars show from? I'm kinda interested in watching it.
Is Star Wars going to be at ComicCon? I thought No Disney stuff Marvel/SW this year
y no amcmovie talk today
To*
Not I
Qwertify I agree!
Where's yesterdays movie talk?
LinkedIn has John Campea at AMC from June 2003 - May 2015...
Kind of funny that people talk shit about John, when we wouldn't have any of this without him. Am I the only one that likes him or something? o.O
The Beanz The same can be said for George Lucas and the Prequels. Sometimes you gotta step back.
I think putting John on the same level as George, in a negative sense, is a bit of a stretch o.O
He's doesn't speculate and he's not optimistic. Campea hasn't brought nearly as much energy to the show as Kristian.
Forrest Smith Their are many times I have seen him be speculative and optimistic o.O I guess it just varies from person to person, his style that is
I refuse to set up a twitter but here is a question.
