Okay i've played for years and even the speed ring on Fort Farragut got me. Amazing a game i've played since the i was 10 years old can still surprise me.
I've played oblivion so many times and never knew about the dungeon under castle bravil, or the overlook in castle anvil or the rings, this video is amazing
I’m scared to breathe in these games because one wrong move can wipe an entire questline in a matter of seconds, so you’ll never catch me entering a building before I’m explicitly told to do so. And even then, I’ll check the UESP for that cell and _all_ the links within it for notes and bugs before entering.
Incredible stuff! Do you think you could maybe do an advanced magic start focused more on magical potential? Meaning instead of getting Umbra gear, you rush the quickest most easily available Varla Stone(s), charged soul gems, both sets of magetallow candles, as well as all spell effects necessary to make the most early-game-breaking spells/enchantments possible, even on highest difficulty (character choice might have to be different because of starting magic skills). That would be very interesting and possibly a fun challenge for you!
I used to think I was so clever for going to loot some silver weapons and a decent shield from the Blackwood Company Hall, then go on a small heist in the market district, join the thieves guild and beat Methredhel to the diary, then offload my loot right away to start the game with decent equipment and 1k gold. This right here makes my strategy look like a fucking joke, though. Damn, you got this down to a science.
Yeah I agree make a series call it 'the awesome adventures of flat head blue potatoe face dark elf' there is nothing he won't do steals from skooma addicts, steals from counts, steals from powerful wizards, steals from sithis, and finally with umbra can steal people's souls. Epic series episode one should be how to catch the unicorn and make it yours
No, but it is the best quality you can find at lvl 1. Fort Farragut also has many good ingredients nearby. And a boss conjurer chest near the exit which later is sometimes filled with better alchemy apparati and can be looted every three days.
Food in houses have a 100% chance. Plants 70%. Mushrooms 50%. It is more important to find places where many can be found in a small area. Farms for example...

So like, what's the point of this again? Just to get a bunch of high level stuff relatively early? All that running around and somehow it feels like no progress was actually made. Granted that speed ring I had no idea was even there, nor did I know you could enter the Dark Brotherhood fort without even joining the guild or using console commands.
Exactly. It's all about getting the best stuff you can get at level 1. If you want to see something where progress is being made, I would recommend my Redguar's journey series.
Having fun at level 1 basically. On the highest difficulty you probably shouldn't level up that much and just use poison's since they absolutely wreck NPCs in this game once you get 100 alchemy and they stack. Even when you "properly" level in this game your actively just making things worse for your character unless you outright just break the game.
Use the duplication glitch to sell Apotheosis staff for alot of money, and for the food its much easier but I do like how if we didnt have that glitch this would be fun to do.
Cheats/glitches takes the fun out of the game. This was done normal which makes it interesting to watch. Just like to say I have nothing against glitches as I've used them myself
@@eshingler29 Agreed. It's fun to see how OP you can become early as possible using legit game mechanics and skills applied to ones knowledge of the game world. I never didn't use the dupe glitch when I first played back in 2006 but as a result I never truly experienced the "depth" of this game or what things to appreciate so that I could identify routes to becoming OP legit. I "thought" it was fun but looking back I now know I was just easily entertained.
@@fredspofford i found out about the dupe glitch after i had finished the game's main campaign and started doing shivering isles. All i could think of was filling sheogorath's room with cheese. The only use duping has ever had i tell you man xD
