Spoilers: Igris was just following orders and wasn't even serious, you could see in the fight that he gets pissed at a point n pummels JW, but doesn't even see JW as a real threat, hence......... They actually give Igris's POV meeting JW for the first time (comes in the after credits of the manhwa)

Good news alert! The season will go till 24 episodes which is confirmed and in the mahawa reference its about 110 episode when it will end. So you dont need to get worried because its will continue and it will keep getting better and better. 12 episode "Arise" is just a begging of our GOAT
I kind of hate that season 1 will presumably go up to chapter 110 honestly. There's so much stuff happening between the Igris fight and the Beru storyline that I feel like 12 episodes won't be enough to cover it all without feeling rushed. Like, the island raid arc start around chapter 88 and end at chapter 108. With all the different POV fights, including those in the training area at the start of the arc, the Raid Arc could easily take half of the remaining episodes by itself. That leave 6 episodes for Tank, Iron, Tusk, and Kaisel.
Its because his Enemies are usually fully Armored and its hard for his Weapon to do Damage to their Armor but he also love to accidentally drop his Teleportation Stone but it worked on his favor and good thing he didn’t leave
In case it didnt come across fully. The reason Jin decided to stab him through the helmet is because he noticed after kicking Igris that he lost consciousness for a split second. So he deduced that there must be some living thing inside the armor and it wasn't just an empty mindless shell like some of the other armored soldiers. So he knew he could bait him into getting closer cause Igris would drag it out like an execution when he was on the throne. The same way he threw his sword and daggers out of "chivalry"
the English voice actor for the dub made his vocal cords bleed for the screaming in this part. the dude nailed the dub and did the original VA for this justice by the character.
That Igris fight reminded me so much of Jiren vs SSB Goku but solo leveling is such an amazing series and I do agree whoever is ending the episodes is torturing us
