To get the elephant out of the room, I think we all saw the scrapping of the character coming, but it's also interesting to note that it wasn't JUST that why they were scrapped.
in other news..HOLLY HELL that stage was SICK as hell! I may not (anymore at least) be and FNF fan, but in all honesty..that's okay. To me, It felt more like a loving tribute to mario creepypasta media as a whole. NGL lie too, some of the instrumentals here are actualy kinda fire and it's a good call you used those so we don't just hear "ah eee ah eeeee eee beep!".
When you first asked the Grand Dad's cameo, i was MORE than curious as to what it was gonna be used for and lets jsut say..i'm far from dissapointed and it was kinda unreal seeing my character in your lawl like this. it's awesome!
overall, great video! happy to have been a part of it and can't wait for what the future of this lawl has!
I really like the idea of a Mario madness stage
The presentation on what could've been a simple update video is incredibly well done. Like from the editing, to the polished visual design, to original animation that looks fluent like wow. The grind to make this video look great is real and clear, always appreciate it when extra effort is given no matter the scale of the video.
As for the removal it’s perfectly understandable. It always sucks when you have what could be a fun idea for a moveset, but in trying to build that moveset cracks start to form and it becomes less feasible. Same with just losing interest in the idea too. It's a slight bummer, but nothing worth losing sleep over. Especially when the rest of the roster is full of really fun ideas.
Then there’s the brand new stage which, Idk anything about aside its a huge FNF project based on spooky Mario, but just woah, woah 0_0. I was talking about presentation earlier, and this stage excels in that. The smooth transitions, the clear and solid platform layout, the background effects and all the bonus elements make for one incredibly imposing and impressive stage.
Lawl Aureus has really come a long way since its first character removal (please don’t remove the funny hey all guy from existence). In a way it kinda serves as reflection looking back to how much this series has grown. Which I hope it and its creator are able to continue doing no matter how much craziness life throws out.
That stage looks amazing, great job, Shrekles.

While I’m sad to see Verbalase go, I more than understand why it had to be done, even without the… fairly obvious main reason why.
so… moving onto that stage which is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The details, the layouts, the chaos the everything about it is just wonderful. The music selection and the stage selection screen are both really well chosen and look really good respectively as well.
Nice job once again Shrekles, and I’m very excited to see what’s to come for Aureus.

That FNF stage looks so amazingly animated. From the transition, to the cameo background characters. Nice job on that.

While its sad seeing Verbalase go, your reasons for removing him understandable, (and honestly surprising that there's more to it than just the expected one).
That said, the new stage based on Mario's Madness was lit. Not only was that's well designed to look like the first level, but but the choices for the music track were awesome and we got some well fitting cameos (with Horror! Yoshi and Peach even appearing for a bit), so that more than made up for the cut.

but the new mario madness stage is great! does a great job covering all the main horror mario songs, and has a great selection of songs from the mod and otherwise! excellent work!

Epic King Should Be As Veblalace ‘s Replacement
As unfortunate as Verbalase's cut is, since I was looking forward to his set, his cut is more then understandable tbh and I do agree the Aureus roster is still in a solid place without him.
That being said, holy SHIT the new stage kicks ass so hard lmao. I've been having brainrot for Mario's Madness a LOT recently and it's very nice to see it properly represented. I felt like basing it off of Mario.EXE's stages specifically was a smart idea, since those are already kinda platformer based, and I'm glad you included like, basically the entire OST (sans So Cool and Unbeatable, which kinda make sense [Unbeatable could justify it's own stage and So Cool fucking sucks lmao])
And on a smaller note, holy shit, the animation for your lil' dudebro sona is v nice! Always good to see Lawlers try drawing more IMO.

SPOILERS: I really liked this stage and honestly with or without the vocals the songs are just amazing, The animations from both the Mario Madness team and Sherkles are just great, basically i liked this video.
