You have to *keep holding for 15 full seconds* until the *red-white blink TWICE* (once around 10s and another around 15s) for the reset to work. Apologize for any inconvenience caused 🙏🏻

FAQ
Q: How do I know if the earbuds and the case is out of battery?
A: You can check the earbuds’ battery level in your phone, either in the notification or in bluetooth settings (varies to each phone), and because there’s no LED indicator in the case, you have to estimate how much you have used the earbuds, usually it’s about 3-5 days for me if I listen to music about 2-4 hours per day.
Q: Both earbuds don’t pair together, what do I do?
A: You can try to do a factory reset here th-cam.com/video/kooEViyuSIM/w-d-xo.html, just make sure you’re holding the touch sensor for FULL 15 SECONDS in step #3
Q: Charging issues?
A: I haven’t had any issues myself with the Haylou so I can’t comment on it, but I do realize there’s quite some people complain to me about it. First, make sure you have peeled off the small plastic layer between the charging connector pins, then if you still have issues, try contacting your reseller.
Q: Durability, fit and comfort?
A: I generally have a good fit with in-ear earbuds and this is no exception, they fit well and comfortably, unless something hits my ear. They fall often with helmets though. And about durability, I’ve used them everyday for over 2 months (nowadays I switch earbuds often), I tossed them into my bag, pocket, and sometimes dropped them, so far I’ve had no issues.
Kenneth Tanaka i didn't realized any surrounding noise. Probably because its just a normal nature sound so its not that very distracting.

Yep, with approaching half a million views Haylou hopefully will sort this problem out with the next model. In my recent video I compare them to cheap AirPods and Galaxy Buds 'clones' and while the sound on the GT1 Plus is better I end up using my clones mostly because of this issue, the uncertainty of being able to connect and the convoluted reset procedure..it took me nearly an hour last time.

It really depends on what they gave you. My last ones were really clear and awesome and they had a soft texture. The recent ones are cutting off, not responding to my touch, and have a rough texture. Got them on the aliexpress, BOTH.
This is not working i have tried 10000 times and still only play sound out of one
Damien's worlds sometimes you have to forget device
First: Delete the headphones from your pairing list.
Second: Touch and hold for 5 seconds until the led turns red.
Third: Touch and hold the headphones. First it will flash the white led, then it will flash white and red, but keep holding it until it flashes white and red a second time.
Then try connecting to your device again.

Yeah, this helps me a great deal. The instruction on the manual book was wrong it says to put them back into the case. After you factory reset them just turns them right back on it will pair to each other.

Make sure to hold the touch in step 3 for full 15 seconds, and leave them in the case for a while before pairing again. Hope this’ll help

There are two ways to pair them. For me this way as in the movie worked but later not. I translated from Poland into google translate
How to pair GT1 - another way
1. Take the headphones out of the charging box - this will detect the phone's headphones in the bluetooth profile
2. Unpair the right handset on the phone, if it is left also on it
3. No need to turn off bluetooth on your phone
4. Put the handset in the charging box
5. Pull it out of the box with the handset charging
6. Hold the headphones on the touch panel for 5 s until they turn off - the red diode will light and turn off, release
7. Hold the headphones on the touch panel for about 13-20 seconds until the white LEDs light up and start flashing faster and faster
until the white and red LEDs flash alternately, they will go out - important !!! hold still do not let go until the second time
blinking for a moment again the white and red LEDs only after that let go, there should still be a short sound of headphones pairing.
8. Put both headphones back into the charging box
9. Take the headphones out of the charging box and wait about 10 seconds for them to pair together
10. Access the bluetooth profile on the phone to find and pair the headphones with the phone.
Important the phone should only detect the right handset, if it detects the left something went wrong and will again play separately.
unfortunately in this case you have to do the whole operation again.

Help mee, after i reset and turn it on again (didn't pun the earbuds back to the case) it just flshing white light, then when i turn on Bluetooth to connect it shows 2 of the earbuds, i still just can hear 1 earbud at a time, i can't use both helppp
Just keep trying to do this reset until they can connect. Make sure to hold for 15 secs, and maybe give some time before pairing them back to the phone

Rahul I found a fix in the comment section! its basically the same but dont stop after the first time they both blink white and red, wait for sometime after and then they will blink white and red once again, and its done! so you basically have to wait for them to light red and white twice

To sync both GT1 PLUS earbuds, make sure you have deleted them both from your bluetooth history on all of your devices, hold the earbuds and turn them off, press and hold them until they turn on and then start blinking white and red as soon as that happens stop pressing they should turn off, you have basically just reset both pfo them, now press again to turn them on, AS SOON AS THEY TURN ONSTOP PRESSING, they should both go white , red white red , but this time they will not turn off, this means they are looking for each other, success after a couple seconds they are now both connected, one will start blinking white really fast the other one will not, you can now sync the earbud blinking white really fast to the pc or phone, once you link it , the other earbud (the one that was not blinking) will join in seconds after and it will also save its own bluetooth link on the device, so now you should have LEFT and RIGHT earbuds registered on your device ,, if not just turn the on the linked one and turn the unlinked one and connect it it via bluetooth but that should not be required. Hope my experience and process helps someone. It is a pain in the $%#$ not find a video on TH-cam explaining it this way. for the GT1 PLUS .

Hope everyone's doing great, I was going through this problem with my Haylou GT1 where I can hear only one side of the earpiece, I followed the given steps in the video but still could not fix it. However, if you put back the earpieces after following step 3 (which is holding on the earpiece for about 15s ) and remove the connectivity history from your phone with the earpiece and take it out and connect it then your problem will likely to be solved such as mine.

@@mhar1191 I figured it out, basically you just need to pair them together. You need to have your device forget the connection or something, turn them off, and then put them in the case. After that I think you take them out and turn them back on. It probably will take some fiddling around with them.

Please help, this didn't work for me and I have no idea what to do and it drives me insane... I followed the steps (even the full 15 sec one - there was no second white/red blink for me, no matter how long I held it for), but in the end there was still only the left or right that was connected. So there was one red/white flash, no second one even if I waited longer. Then it took a time till it went into slow-flash, but after it happened I put it back in the case, took it out again and there was still only the left or right side to connect. (My phone says Haylou T16 and Haylou T16, but one of them is right, one of them is left.) THEY JUST DON'T PAIR! What the hell should I do?? And I cant send it back...

The step #3 doesn't work for me, as they never blink red-white, but white-only forever (actually, 1 min is the maximum time I've been waiting). So, they don't factory reset, and so they still don't pair between them (the left pairs with the phone, but the right remains blinking forever). I've even tried the "touch 10 seconds inside the case" solution someone said, but it didn't work too, it only caused for the buds to now blink red for some seconds every time I turn them on, before the left pairs with the phone.
I've even left them to drain the battery, and charge fully again, just in case. I don't know, desperate solutions.
Does someone know what may I do to factory reset them successfully? I hope so, because I'm thinking of throwing them away and buy another ones (not the same, obviously).

Hi. I have a problem with my Haylou Gt2 earbuds. Here's the story: both earbuds lights up (red) when in the charging case, when I remove both earbuds they also blink (white). Then, when bluetooth is turned on in my phone, two names for Haylou appear. So, I did the reset for 15-20secs on hold only- until white and red blinks quickly. Outcome is there are only one "haylou" appearing in my phone after reset, but the problem is only the left works and not the right. Then, there are also times when after I format haylou again, they will pair both and they will both work BUT after less than 1 min, right won't work again. I've watched a lot of videos on yt and I did all their tutorials but no effect. 😞 Is there a problem internally? If ever, how much will it cost to fix it? I bought it from August 15, 2020. I hope someone can answer my problem. Thank you. ☺️

I just bought a second pair of GT1 XR, but its own method didn't work (you must do almost the same but in their case "while charging"); so, in despair I tried this and it worked.

My problem is when GT1 Pro is connected my wifi lags :(. TH-cam will load slow and apps wont load fast like FB. But my wifi is fast when it's not connected :(
Hi Kenneth, I've been trying that method a number of times but every time I turn it on again after the reset it still only shows both "Haylou GT1 Plus R" and "Haylou GT1 Plus L," instead of "Haylou-GT1_R". It plays normally on my iPhone, but only plays from my right earbud when connected to my laptop. Is it a defect that my right ear bud is flashing rapidly instead of slowly like in your video?

I've just bought it and realise that when I use it on FB calls, the first 2 seconds still hear the ringing from the GT1 but the 3rd second sound were out from the phone instead. Is this normal? Hi.. I came across this vid when I was searching for a GT1 Pro trouble guide. So what happened with mine is the left bud doesn't work anymore, as in no sound come out and no light blink on anymore. When I tried to do a factory reset, it worked only for the right bud, the left one still doesn't produce any sound and light. I wonder if it's just a technical trouble that can be fixed or it was simply broken? I bought it a month ago and it worked wonder before, all of a sudden it stopped working just like that. FYI, quite often I used it only one bud, either left only or right only, any chance this was the cause? please help, thank you :)

For those who still cannot fix the pairing issue after follow this guy step here, just like mine, try this:
1. Unpair the earbuds on your phone
2. Put it back in the case
3. Touch them until it blinking red light twice, while they are still in the case
4. After they blinking red twice, they should be ok. Try to connect them to your phone as it is the first time you use them
I followed the step in the video, just like on the manual book, it didnt worked. Fail on the 15s step.
Instead of blinking red at the 11th-15th seconds, it just blinking white until forever, even after I tried it for several time. And i noticed that mine was blinking white faster than the guy's in the video after the turn off step. Hope this helps!

Help! The earbud mic is not working, can't find the fix. Everytime I open apps that uses mic it uses the build in mic in the phone and the audio also playing from phone speaker, although my GT1 pro still connected
My left ear bud keeps blinking white and red

When i try to reset-pair them, both of them just keep blinking white rapidly
I have a habit of using only my right ear bud and leave the left earbud in the case. I only use the left earbud when i feel my right ear is tired. Does that habit have anything to do with this ?

My micro just doesnt work well, the noise is horrible. I bought 1 to my sister now after having my for like 4 months and the firmware is diferent, diferent sounds turning off and on, to pair its just Haylou-GT and the micro works perfect. Didnt bother to ask for refund of myne, shame micro come not working fine.
New sub here, by the way I'd like to ask if you have any idea on how to change the codec of GT1, it always stuck in SBC. I tried the developers option in android but to no avail, it always go back to SBC.
Do not buy this. Such an annoying problem. And it keeps happening. No true fix, you have to factory reset it 300 times a day in a 5 step annoying coreography.
Bad product.
