I do too it's not the same anymore like they started bringing back some of the cartoon but the bumpers made it everything also I wish they would add more cartoons to the lineup since they have like 100 cartoons to choose from but the way they do stuff at Warner Brothers is annoying
And now we have a new boomerang coming on June 25th for over the air people it's free it's basically going to be boomerang but it's called my TV tunes I'm excited for it they're paying home meds to all of the old cartoons not just shows the aired here there's going to be a lot more cartoons that they're going to have access to and then the original voice of porky pig is going to be doing the bumpers
Bruh, if I knew these were in stores, would’ve Speed run to my local Toys “R” Us or thrift store, or Amazon, to search for these toys heck, would’ve run over grandma for it lol
What’s charming is there a literally stock motion which I like, basically taking normal objects moving them around thinking frame by frame pictures to make your character basically move, which I love
The network was rougher in terms of humor, and the release of the show Chicken and the Cow, Billy and Mandy could have aggravated the situation; their humor was as vulgar as possible, because of this the channel could have been removed.
god as soon as this started playing i was hit in the face with nostalgia, I loved boomerang so much. does anyone remember the josie and the pussycats theme song bumper that showed them singing in multiple styles/different costumes??? I loved that lol
Boomerang was my introduction to cartoons as a kid. I looked forward to coming home from elementary school everyday to watch some good classic cartoons

I did not realize how ingrained these are in my memory until right now. I still remember those late Friday and Saturday nights. It was dark out and everything was calm. I was allowed to stay up late, 11 or 12 o’clock. Teen Titans, Samurai Jack, and Johnny Bravo were on. Me and my brother were still living in the same house, our old house, and just chilling. Still probably why Teen Titans is one of my all time favorite shows. The small moments that shaped us more than we ever realized they did. Simple joyous times. It’s crazy how nostalgic I am for those exact days. I can remember them crystal clearly. Oh to start over. To live again. To feel pure unadulterated joy again.
I feel like its just a regular weekday night. Me and my sister are laying on the couch watching these comercials. Cartoon network had just shut off and we turned boomerang on. I miss these days.
Boomerang suffered the same fate as Toon Disney and Nicktoons. All three channels were designed to be the home of older shows that no longer had a time slot but were still worthy of airtime. While their older sister channels ran obnoxious marathons of their latest hit series, you could come to the other channel and escape all that. Problem is, those hit series got more views than any other show on their sister networks, so they would start airing these new shows on these channels as well. So now you couldn’t escape it. If you hated the show, now you had no where to go. If you liked the show, well, now you were burned out on it because it was always on. They suckered you into subscribing for these shows, then removed them as soon as they could.
Funny enough, the slogan its all coming back to your was made for the baby boomers. Now, the first half of gen z and millennial can now relate to that slogan bow.
Now this is the way Boomerang was always supposed to stay it had all the makings of a real cartoon channel with an amazing schedule of both old and new shows and we should be glad that they have created MeTV Toons to become a classic Boomerang 2.0
No amount of nostalgia has made this emotional. I just ublocked a new memory. I remember watching Boomerang as a kid on my early years until I moved on. I've been told new Boomerang isnt the same as before and I'm getting sad knowing we wont get this ever again.
because some of the bumpers do not match thematically with the shows they are playing like some of these bumpers are really intense and dramatic and then you go back to watching top cat it's thematic uncanny valley
wish theyd bring these back, the current bumpers are so lifeless/boring compared i loved nothing more growing up then waking up at night and seeing one of these bumpers on the tv.
I remember seeing the bumper at 3:19 a lot. Used to watch PPG, Wacky Races, that Penelope Pitstop show and Dexters Lab whenever they came on Boomerang, and it was awesome.
This is coming from my mom’s POV on new Boomerang 0I think the new bumpers are okay, but the lineup subverts how it’s supposed to be, they air more new stuff than old stuff. Rip to my mother this was her favorite channel and being born in 94 I grew up on the OG boomerang channel & this brings back so many memories back when I was a kid and everything was okay.. This was me and my sisters childhood it’s so nostalgic seeing this again as an adult with my own kids now & my mom would still watch boomerang before bed till the day she passed.. I love you mom and miss you and thank you to boomerang for bringing us together to laugh and have a good time as a family ❤

Ah yes, the good old days. Where Boomerang was fun and charming, where there was no consequence in enjoying the classics, me in bed sick, with Boomerang constantly on, Scooby Doo always on, life was good 😇
I got high as shit and remembered when I I used to watch boomerang when I was young, like 5 or 6 (born in 2001) and waking up in the middle of the night to see these. It’s crazy man😂
Shit that “it’s coming back to you” shit was like what. I’m so high I’m replying to my own comment that no one will ever see. Man. That’s crazy. No one will see us. Lmao I’m so high this is dumb. XD

the ones i recall the most fondly that really bring me back are 0:00 and 1:20, i also remember a lot of the song bumpers but again they don’t bring me a strong feeling of nostalgia like they did a few years back
"Its all coming back to you" Hits harder after all these years ❤
Felt like he was talking directly to me while watching this
It makes me feel like I’m back in the late 2000’s.
I miss the old boomerang, it's so annoying how the new one is. I don't even have cable anymore but if they brought back the old boomerang and it's show line up I'd have to get it
@Mr_ Pip I think they lost a lot of money either way because of streaming
Same i miss the old boomerang too
Yeah new Boomerang is just Cartoon Network 2.0
Yeah we got rid of cable last year. Not much good stuff on cable TV these days anyways.
Same. I really want the old channel to come back.
3:49 I remember this being simultaneously the coolest and creepiest bumper
I grew up with this shit, and I miss it now more than ever.

I miss seeing every single one of these bumpers on tv. When LIFE WAS SIMPLE 😭
I agree back when stuff was really simple
Yeah don't we all wish we were a child again 😢 I loved watching this before school and after school
Couldn't have said it better myself
The very first one, particularly the music from it, has been stuck in the back of my head for YEARS
Boomerang was basically a celebration of animation history. This and House of Mouse are my all time favorites
I think a major part of what made these so charming was that none of the toys were made for the bumpers. They actually existed
I never knew that, that's so cool!
I had a feeling they were real but we never knew where to get them
I can’t describe the feeling that 3:49 gives me. It’s just like an odd creepy but comforting feeling
what do yall know about waking up in the middle of the night to these bangers lmao
I would love to have the Toys featured in the Boomerang Bumpers.
3:55 so nostalgic. been tryna remember where this melody stuck in my head for years was from
crazy how a channel dedicated to nostalgia is now nostalgic itself
I love this, you can tell they weren't 100% sure what they "should" do, but they nailed it so much more than any modern channel
My dad had Cartoon Network blocked when I was a kid but for some reason boomerang was always watchable. These are all burned into my memory.
The network was rougher in terms of humor, and the release of the show Chicken and the Cow, Billy and Mandy could have aggravated the situation; their humor was as vulgar as possible, because of this the channel could have been removed.
The ones with the creepy intense music, old toys, and warbly announcer voice, those scared me as a kid
That's what I loved
I loved it, I felt like I was having a surreal dream lmao
I was scared when I saw them as a toddler but I fell in love with them a few years later
I don't really see how vintage toys can be that scary lol.
It reminds me of the Wii, PSP, DS, 3DS, PSVita and the Wii U.

Hell yeah
Whoever rebranded boomerang I will never forgive you

There needs to be a website that’s just the old format of boomerang channel where it plays the old shows with the bumpers in between for no reason!
