I just revisited the Senna movie after seeing it listed on Amazon prime... it had me just as emotional 😭 the second time around. Such a terrible tragedy losing a god-like figure like Senna... his life’s significance can be measured in the amounts of people he continues to inspire even to this day, 25+ years later which says a lot. This song is so fitting for the scene in the movie and the part of Senna’s life; difficult watching the last video of him trying to keep the car on track esp when you compare his helmet movements in the last few seconds. Hearing Prof Watkins talk about his spirit leaving the body totally broke me. Rip senna #1
I am gonna be honest, I didn’t cry the first time I saw this when it came out in 2010. However when I watched it one month later when it came out on dvd. I cried like a baby. I never got to see senna raise but he is my hero. He inspired me to begin with gokart. To sad he passed away aged 34.

In fact just watched it again today while day trading - Senna is an inspiration whenever you feel like giving up or think you can’t do something, because you can always push it further. He will be modern day legend like Achilles, and the like

Even when he was in the Williams and sid asked him if he wanted to go fishing after ratzenbergers death. He of course said no and kept on racing even if he almost knew he would get hurt. It was sad that senna left ron Dennis and McLaren for Williams and then they banned “assists” which was the biggest mistake they’ve ever did
As a Brazilian I am happy that Senna is still remembered in the world, it is a shame that today we idolize politicians and football players like Neymar here. A sporting idol that marks a generation like Senna here will never have.

I remember being at a fancy party in Buzios when i first heard it, obsessed, then back home in Paris at another party obsessed . Then 3 years later watching the Senna documentary (my fave F1 driver ever) when i was finishing university in 2013 and it had become one of my favorite songs. Otto is one of my favorites Brazilian artists and that remix was hard to find on streaming platforms anywhere . I had downloaded it on my phone through here through an mp3 yt app 11yrs ago and to this day, its now linked to my love of Senna too from the doc, that sweet moment when he finally could bask into being a double champion and have fun❤

Una canción si duda muy elegante para este documental. Es inspiracional porque el logro lo que muchos no podemos, vencer el miedo a los desafios y a vivir con ese miedo. A convivir con el. Ciertamente al final nos deja la mejor de las metáforas, el miedo mismo nos puede perder. Excelente legado.
